Hot damn !
The proselytism is strong in this one. Half of the line sound like it comes from a cult leaflet or something, certainly not from the characters as they all speak the same way.

I'm not weirded out by what they say but how they say it.

All the kind of "trivia" like "you know its normal in some countries to kiss your children" also feel weird because of the context.
They are already fucking all around the house yet they are still talking like they are trying to convince themselves of something.
And that leave only persons to be convinced are behind the forth wall (well I guess that the game creator could be more in the backstage, but you get what I mean).

When it is not that it's the character going length on how for example "the father should be the one taking his daughters virginity". Do they really need to be talking like that ?
I could almost see it since the goal half of the harem route is to convince Emily to go with it.

But it is so blatant that Emily could well be a sad looking plank of wood with boobs with "oh, okay ..." written on it.

"she is saying that because she is trying to resist", No, that's not the reaction of someone resisting to an idea they are getting convinced by.
That is just stating something as a fact seems like a clutch to the lack of character psychology.
She is living though an intense chain of life shattering revelations. Then indulge in something she should (considering her starting point) feel ashamed of. And it doesn't seem like anything.
But what about the Jenna Ex Machina. Well the thing is that a deus ex machina is a plot device, not a character development device.
Here all the story unfold because of a character talking an other character into something they are deeply against in the backstage. Well I assume it is that way since how little reaction Emily has when she witness any event.

Quite daring to go for almost a huis-clos and have checklist character development.
I have nothing against fuck fest type. Just that if you are gearing up for character based plot it would be nice to give it as much attention than to the sex scenes.
i used to think it would be gay-still do depending on things-but the issue with that comes when you add trans males.

Yeah honestly I anticipated being turned off by the scene, dudes don't do much for me, but I watched it out of curiosity. It was done rather tastefully and not overly graphic; I felt so bad for the... individual (I get really confused by trans pronouns), that i viewed the scene in its entirety and didn't regret it.

If you played through different endings, it might have become evident that the game was not meant to be a slice of real life, but instead a romp for the sake of such with whacky situations, gratuitous sex and memorable scenes. Part of the reason Sofi's character had a cult following is because she had a different backstory than all of the rest - plus, hers was specifically based on hardship. Everyone else played a part in getting an adult VN out the door with 5 major endings, each having a role to play in helping those situations become realized, but she was the odd, sympathetic character out whose path was never critical to a specific ending.

So, the Dev mixed in escapist fantasy with a few things to consider - and those items usually hit home well. That took a deft hand to embed strains of sincerity in this otherwise unreal (and entertaining) framework, IMHO.

At least, if the elephant in the room didn't make it obvious, then I'm not sure what more could be offered to exemplify the mix of serious, fantastical and unbelievable elements intended to be on display.

Well then I'll say that the tone of the game does not match its intent.

When you say wacky sex romp I think Solvalley School.

If Parental Love is meant to be what you describe then I think it failed.

Sister's ending was kinda quicker when MC is thrown out :giggle: but nice marriage and pregnancy like she wanted (y)
Tryed solo Ada but i impregnanted Elly first then Married both (y) Nice game (y)
Harem is great but the other girl is removed :(
Wish Dev could add harrem ending some extra things like Babies etc Living stuff:cool:(y)
You can get Sofi in the harem. There's two versions of it depending on whether you choose to let her compensate you for giving her a place to stay. It basically defines the nature of your relationship from there forward.

If you seek a black/white characterization, then this is a difficult game to pin down, I feel. Still, how you can't see the "sex romp" aspects of this game is not something I can understand, admittedly: there is sex with everyone, in all sorts of casual, forced and dream-like ways, on a near-constant basis in some of the major paths.

As I added in an edit:

This game skirts various lines, but its foundation was not intended to be realistic - it only brings in elements of the world we more easily recognize (and sympathize with) for specific characters and situations. So, it balances along a fine line and takes a lot of liberty, quite on purpose.

Still, it doesn't have to be your thing, certainly.
