I could personally care less what he does, it's just when I see so many people holding the same concern, it stands to reason the guy could potentially lose backers by not finishing what they want him to. Compared to other devs, he really can't take that kind of a loss on patreon. Like you said, we should give him a little wiggle room but people in general are prone to panic, especially when it comes to what they spend their money on. Most want to see a return, buy a movie, you want it to be a good one. Buy food, you want it to taste good. Same principal with games, you want it to be entertaining/something your interested in. The new game, most don't seem all that interested in it or at least, not yet anyway. Which is why i think he should focus on getting PL closer to a more completed state before turning too much time to developing a second. That way he at least retains his backers and maybe gains more along the way.

His new game doesn't look interesting at all. Not really interested in the homoerotic content and the other character models are boring and uninteresting.

I hope he realizes what got him the 800+ backers was PL if he switches to A69 as his main title going to drop my support.

Yeah, this kind of gives me Big Brother vibes, in that the developer was clearly losing interest in the game and wanted to work on another project instead. Now Big Brother is abandoned. I think it's a reasonable concern for people to worry that PL will be abandoned, or that every update in the future will be delayed to coincide with an A69 update. Luxee will be diverting time to A69 that once went to PL, and perhaps all of his good ideas will go to it as well. A69 seems to be the game that Luxee really wants to make, and the posts in this thread about it seem to indicate that they're trying to build the foundation for a bigger game than PL.

He stated on Discord once or twice that he regrets beginning the pure husband route as he didn't make Emily all that interesting. AFAIK A#69 is just getting it's .1 to serve as a backup incase PL gets bitchsmacked off Patreon. Who knows what goes on in the mind of a drunk Finn though.

counter argument will be that there is no loss for pledgers here since we're getting two games for the price of one,even though personally i couldn't be less interested in the new project,don't know about others.
thing is,such devotion he showed to new project while at the same time basically bashing the incoming update of PL raises question does he still has the same passion for creating and completing PL or will we get shit updates until the finish so that he can fully move on to new game? because,as @armion82 said,second update to a69 won't be until 2020 at this rate,and there's really not much sense working so hard and presenting the new game now just to put it aside for next 1,5-2 years

Luxee clearly has a lot of passion for PL. He put a poll up forever ago for the inclusion of a trap character (all the way back to the release .3 or .4 I think) so Nea or a version of has evidently been on his mind for awhile. Since he only charges per major update, and every update has been satisfying, I don't mind him taking the extra time to make something he wants to do. Don't get me wrong now, I absolutely want more Elly in my face as soon and as quickly as possible, but Luxee has been very upfront and clear with his fans and patrons.

First of all, this game is amazing. It's very porny in the sense it's almost constant h-scenes but it's all godtier stuff.

But the thing is, I only have 6 scenes in the gallery despite getting a lot more. If I try to view a scene, it crashes after the first dialogue progression.

You are perfectly right he's dumb for not reading the last posts, but there is no task counter anymore which could indicate the 0.7 release, only for the new game. :3

You both are correct. I should have been a little clearer in my post, .7 has been complete for awhile and we're just waiting for Lux to stop jerking it to trap porn and remember he has fans waiting to give him money.

He isn't abandoning anything, once the 0.1 of A69 is out that goes on hold until PL is completed.

I don't think he's abandoning anything. If he throws out 0.7 now, and it's as terrible recieved as he expects, then people will want 0.8 even faster and he probably won't get a good chance to start on A69 till PL is finished.

Let's not be that pessimistic.I think the first game of most devs is usualy their favorite too.Luxee is no exception.After all he is impatient to start working on PL 0.8.
How many more Elly's updates will be,what do you think?And Ada?Harem obviously will be with most updates.
