I agree and would say your 3rd point is not just a high probability, it's guaranteed loss of at least a few/some players, as switching playstyle partway into a game is a giant red flag for many of us that has been burned by that very change a few times too many.
And yes, TP is a good example of it, IIRC, think I dropped it because it made the game so damn tedious and unenjoyable. Been a couple of years since I touched it last so I might be misremembering. All I remember for certain is dropping it because of the sandbox.

Pretty much this. I just played the game for the first time and reached the end. Once the sandbox portion began I immediately engaged autopilot, constantly checking the quest log for what to do next. It's basically just VN with extra steps, for player and dev. I gather it's the first release with the sb, but it's hard so see how it will add value to the experience going forward.

Hello everyone, I'd like to call onto you guys to aid me in a decision concerning the game.
As most of you know, there was a recent change in the style of play from a Visual Novel to Sandbox. And this has created a huge division in the community. There have been people in the comments and even more in my dms who have expressed
their various concerns about this conversion.
And I want you all to know that I've read and understood your various points, and I'm willing to make the necessary
sacrifices to satisfy you guys(by sacrifices I mean just some minor events and characters.)
For now, I'm going to post a separate VN style project on this page (it'll have to go with a very similar pacing to the Sandbox.) I'd do same for every version from here on out, but right now I can't keep up with creating both VN and Sandbox styles at the same time.
But you guys are the backbone and purpose of this project and you all deserve to be heard. So I'm going to ask you all in the form a poll (It has been posted on the first page of this thread) to decide what you want this game to be from the next version onwards. Please vote if you will, because the result will help determine the future of the project.

I think you should keep VN style as long as you give the possibility to avoid any unwanted content for example: Sexual Harassment, Lesbian, etc. That's my opinion.

I dislike most of the Sandbox games on this site (but I love eldar scrolls, Skyrim, fallout etc), the reason is that most Devs dont have the manpower to make it not empty or remove grinding.
In this game its not a problem, Dev seems to be able to avoid these pitfalls.
I had no problem going from VN to Sandbox funwise.
I was a little bit troubled by the Sukebe-MC blackmail, but that situation was quickly turned around and their sex scene afterwards is hot.
It does seem strange to me a seductress specialist doesnt know she has a g-spot or is intimidiated by his member's size.

switching to a sandbox was a good move for this game it just needs a gallery and repeatable scenes.

Nobody like sandboxes in Adult games. At best they are bearable.
It never gives anything of substance it only patts the game with time sinks.
