Good I was hoping for more out of this game, I do enjoy it. Kinda got discouraged when I saw Abandoned Tag.

- Vag sex training for the other slaves is essential or they are useless. Maybe some unique thing they can offer would make them useful
- Trade skill/haggling system and later transportation fix is a must. First just let us haggle more than once or at least at each of the individual traders! Right now the prices are fixed countrywide makes not worth to buy anything even the building materials. Why to rush building if the materials could be cheaper in future version?
- Rhetoric system to my surprise is an enjoyable minigame but it needs some consistency fix. Like crimes punishable by death and exile should always worth more salary than low crimes punishable by fines! Some crimes like rping a married women has too low punishment (low fine) and low reward for successful defense. Payments shouldn't be random! Maybe a base fee influenced by the MC's rhetoric or/and fame.
Maybe prosecution should yield more money balancing the fact that you make enemies instead of friends.
- A new goal is needed after the debt is payed. I managed to grind it all before upgrading any building just with the rhetoric minigame. It was long and boring by the end but it is possible. it would be unfair if the MC just get another debt.

we are finally... finally... closing in painfully slowly on having a new build of Patronus. This build will not have new content in it. What it will have is a rebase in RenPy 7.4 from 7.3, a working Live2d implementation, and about 50+ small bugs fixed. This release wil be called 3.2.72_BUGFIX and will hopefully represent us returning to our ability to do new releases. Please keep the faith and stay tuned. I know it's a damned long time, and if I could do anything about it I would have.
Regarding rhetoric system - Higher rank people always pay more than lower rank. Saving a slave from death earns you almost nothing at all, as is appropriate. There is a calculation system with an RNG element to it. The biggest multipliers are a: rank, and b: seriousness. There are other factors as well, like how good your RNG roll was compared to your opponent.
Regarding a second goal. Yes, of course. This will be fleshed out in an upcoming version. The next major goal will not be about money. It will be about gaining a Patron in Roma. You will have three possible patrons - A military patron, a political patron, or a mercantile patron. If you have made certain choices, these people will not be available to you. Instead, you will have a crime boss that you get support from.
After gaining a patron, your next goal will be to gain Fama and Gloria (fame and glory) among the plebs whilst also gaining Gravitas and Authoritas among the Senatorial class (Using your now freed whores who have become courtesans). When you have achieved both, you can petition for election to the Senate based on restoring your family name. If you fail, you will be able to being assassinating and terrorizing those who voted against you.
Regarding trade skill/haggling - the way it is *supposed* to work is that you can haggle for each good/material once with each merchant in each region. It's not correct at the moment. I suppose I could add a mechanic that if the bargain date is more than 30 days ago or if your skill has gone up by more than 15 points you can renegotiate. But do you want those fixes instead of new porn? Of course not.

Also, just to piss everyone off. In an upcoming build you will have to make a choice about fame/infamy. If you make a certain choice, you can gain a noble wife. If you make a different choice you will meet a long lost family member. But you will have to replay the game to follow the fame or infamy route, and there's no going back.

I do hope that with cheats we are able to go through the other route a bit quicker than on the main playthrough.
Also, could you please post the next update (at some point) also on F95Zone? It would get rid of this annoying "Abandoned" tag.

Regarding rhetoric system: "RNG roll" To be honest why would anyone accept a bad RNG roll accept a payment of 1900 instead of 6000 and go home, sleep...
(because there is no content for the late hours yet - every building is closed and the brothel is working on auto. It should work on auto because if you "observe" the action your character now stuck in a position and remain in that position for the rest of the game forever+ it looks like you get less costumers and money if you observe now)
... so go back home and sleep than back to the basilica and pray for the RNG gods again, when you can just save and reload? With the slow renpy load times it seems obvious to me that players will save scum so imo the RNG system is useless and counterproductive.
Another issue I encountered using the minigame and clicking on the text options sometimes I clicked on the exit link. It happened often enough to make this an annoyance. Maybe moving the exit to the side or shortening the area would prevent this.

With the current state there is no way you can get 15 points to trade skill. Most players will try out the haggling system and at the second trader notice the system is broken and won't touch the haggling skill again. I tried out and haggled all of the current goods available succeeded 2 times to lower the price and it yielded 3 trade skill at the end of the week on "reflect on your week". Without the trading system the progress is halted. Some of the few implemented and working quests are requiring too much effort and annoyance. How about letting one of the traders offering trade skill instruction at least until the system is fixed?

As I wrote earlier and others mentioned it too in this forum vag sex is a must on every slave girl or your brothel is completely useless now. Your only get money on the roman girl now and she gets suicidal if you don't complete her quest but her quest is an annoyance too. The quest objective is very vague and using latin words to describe when should we find the guy who will tell us where the slave trader is. Do you really except the players to know a dead language? Well it is not a dead language for clerics or doctors or maybe the swiss guard in the Vatican but to most people it is. Yeah I see you trying to be authentic but come on! If you are tired of answering the same questions on forums over and over just fix those damn quest objectives and use english words in it! And yeah I noticed you had to do this because you used latin for the dates too. Another counterproductive decision.
So I noticed you don't like walls of text in this forum so I end this. I was trying to be constructive because I'm interested in this project. I could just rate this to 1 star and move on but I see that this could be a gem so I tried to be vocal about the problems instead and hoping for a positive reaction. I'm not trying to be smart. I won't tell you what to do. This was my first and last try.

A question - Are you playing on 3.2.72r18 from Discord? I posted how to get it above. I've never encountered a situation in which the player gets stuck observing the bordello. If this is accurate, then it's a bug to be reported - do you have a save file that shows this?
I think you must be playing on a version without the cheat menu and without the mercantile trainer.
We cleaned up the quest hints a lot for the Fasti quest in 3.2.72r18, it might feel better to you. As to the sex scenes, and to comments above about oral sex, vaginal sex...
We have added vaginal and other scenes in, and are adding more but we've been stuck because of horrendous development issues. We have an update in the pipeline that we're calling the 'all porn' update.
Finally about oral sex... In roman society the single greatest sexual taboo was to be a provider of oral sex. It was considered to be far worse than dying, even for slaves. Sex was considered a procreative and biological function, even if it was just to relieve stress. To force your slaves to perform oral sex was to run the risk of them committing suicide or murdering you, and if others found out, you would be considered a pervert. So, in this game you have to get the girls to a higher loyalty (l2, l3) in order to train them in oral sex. But at L3, a slave gifted at oral sex would make you rich.

I don't think the bug is on my end. Every single time you start a new game it happens. There is no sleeping animation for example but if you never use the observe mode this bug doesn't happening. This was present in earlier versions too.

Yes. I didn't know I suppose to use cheats for the trade skills.

Oral sex: I didn't complain about the oral sex at all. Look! I have difficulties with the language as english is not my mother language but I think I described the problem well enough and I read the thread and others complained about this too. Vaginal sex needed because it is the only thing now making the brothel money but Fastis quest is tedious, long and the description using latin and even the english part had grammar issues making the instructions misleading. I was able to complete it but had to sleep over at the MC's villa for more than 2 weeks+ once I didn't have the required money to buy the slave and had to repeat the process. After it I got a useless slave hating me and a whore making me remorse. Very bad quest. So bad I decided next time to not buy Fasti at all but the problem is only she can earn money at least at the beginning. Why bother with the brothel and slaves when they not earning you money?
