Patreon is against incest/stepcest and some other niche or extreme fetishes, so the game released to the public is without those content, hence the spicy mod, which restores bestiality and incest.

I thought spicy mod was just incest.

Because there is a separate mod for bestiality in the links on the front page.

I could be wrong and hopefully I don't get any bestiality content with the incest mod.

That's how I'd expect it be without Spicy. Julia has a sorta similar situation. Perhaps Yvette's mother died in childbirth or shortly after if Spicy isn't applied and the current Baronness was a governness or minor relative too removed to count as incest who, ahem, "improved her position" in the Baron's household over time.

Patreon seems to care more about M/F incest than same-sex situations. I don't recall any works with same-sex incest getting banned unless they had other problematic content as well. But I could be mistaken, I'm generally not interested in that other kind of stuff to begin with.

The fact that Greyport & it's surrounding territory is ruled by a Baron is interesting because they are the lowerlst rank within the hierarchy of nobles. And there used to be a Count in the region before he died while "playing with a servant girl".

I wonder how far from the actual capital Greyport is because we know from the Erevi's history lesson on the Tower that the "King's army laid siege" so there's definitely a king of this land.

Perhaps this update will give us a peep into the political intrigue of the realm?
