Hit a bit of a problem. day 115, and every link takes long to load, up to 10 seconds per link. game slowed to a crawl. if i restart (new game) its at normal speed. using chrome, bought a lot of clothes (cause?).
That's kind of par for the course with long, open-ended Twine games like these.
It has to do with the history (the back button), having to store more and more information about the variables as the game goes on. Saving also saves the history too, as well as a copy of entire game when using Twine (at least I assume so, since passages appear inside your save when looking at them in notepad).
The only real fix for that is to edit the length of the history, or disable it altogether. There's probably a Twine command you can use but I don't remember what it is off the top of my head.
But yeah, that's kind of typical for games of this length, similar things happen with The Company and Secretary too.
Though if you have bad hardware as well, that exacerbates the issue. There's definitely slowdown even on powerful hardware, but it's really just a fraction of a second more compared to instant, not 10s like you're having.

THIS Is REALLY So Sad!! 
Allowing Patreon and their "Morality Police" to Ruin Your Game,and Those of Other DEV's
because Patreon **Snotty/nasal tone** does not like/approve your content..
(IT is bad enough that You HAD to Remove the Mom (No Incest); and the Teacher's Blackmail.)
That didn't bother me so much. But The Teacher Does Need some way to 'punish' the MC If He chooses Not to comply.
** Having MC do detention dressed as a Girl(panties & dress), then having a few students 'parade' into the classroom, or the threat of... public humiliation.
The 'hypnosis'/Hypno vids for the therapists 'treatment'/study is a Major part of MC's progression.
(You MIGHT as well remove the survey as well, and just pay MC $20 for each session.)
The Game doesn't Really Make sense without it. You are just Forcing a Boy to Dress as a girl.
YOU Need the Mental aspect of it to MAKE the MC accept it and WANT to Dress Up/be a girl/sissy.
I REALLY Hope That You Can Find a way, or an alternative to Add Hypno Back into the Game;
without Pissing off the PRUDE ASSHOLES at Patreon.

Maybe. I do not know much about Subscribestar. Are They as Bad as Patreon with their 'Morality Policing' B.S.??
My point IS, IF Patreon CONTINUES to Interfere in DEV's Creating Games and Updated versions, There WILL NO LONGER BE Anyone "Subbing" To DEV's Pages Because Patreon INSISTS on RUINING the Game(s).

Nah, they're not as bad. You have to look at the big picture to understand what's going on. It's not Patreon that's actually setting the policies, it's the payment platforms. Paypal, in this case. Paypal doesn't want any questionable content, and puts the pressure on Patreon, which means Patreon puts pressure on devs. It's the same thing that's happening now with OnlyFans (although that seems to have been resolved).
The thing about Subscribestar, is that they're not using those payment platforms, so there's no one to put the squeeze on them. In turn with their lax policies, PE is free to do what they wish with their game without the looming threat of the site or payment platforms Thanos-snapping the game from existence.
The solution of swapping is an easy one in concept, but when you've been established, it's like trying to uproot a fully grown tree and plant it somewhere else. There's a lot of roots and shit that make the task not as easy as you'd think.
It's not like the devs want to mess around with their game and audience like this, but it's something that has to be done, at least for the interim.
Really it's down to the support of everyone to get things back to normal. If it's a game you liked before the change and felt strongly about, there's obvious ways you can help (if you have the means). I know supporting something that's changed for the worse is a bit of a shitty deal, but it's more about the end-goal rather than the journey in this sense. If the devs were quick to change and start dancing to Patreon's tune, they'd be just as quick changing step and dancing to their own once they meet their goals.
I think that putting their Patreon links front and center aren't doing them any favors though. I'd remove all mention of Patreon and only link their Subscribestar. That way newcomers who want to donate have only one place to go instead of giving Patreon the time of day.

Times like those I just open the game in the Twine editor, pick the relevant passage, and hit play from there.
Variables and stuff get wonky, but it doesn't matter too much since it doesn't rely too much on them. You'll def get some errors and wonky text here and there where it tries to reference broken variables.
It beats playing the game over for a bit of text.
It's usually what I do whenever there's an ending update to see if it's worth my while to play the game all over again.
So far they haven't been. Still holding out for the full MtF ending.
