So the game, it's good. Great even. I'm up to wearing the School Dress to school every day. My female best friend has been supportive and loving the entire time. The Teacher comes off as a Domme should, pushing but still caring. The babysitter is... weird, but whatever. The one thing that threw me completely out of the fantasy that was being built up was the cheerleaders and their bullying. Then on top of that, your Domme does nothing to defend you from their lies. As someone that was bullied all through school from 2nd grade onward for being too girly and not liking the things boys liked, this struck home in a way that made me step away from the game for now. Maybe tomorrow I can go back to it, but right now, all I want to do is go play something that lets me kill things, I'm so angry. Yeah, that is a compliment to how far into the narrative of the game I was getting but that whole scene just dumped me out of that.
Is there any way to avoid it if I restarted from scratch? I absolutely do not want to see what these sadistic cheerleaders have planned in any way shape or form. Really the cheerleading stuff isn't all that bad at all, literally the stuff you'd see in a Lifetime movie (if they did porn), just bitchy cheerleaders being cheerleaders.
As for avoiding it outright, I figured that was already possible since it used to be optional.
But if it's not and it's such a big deal that you can't even look at the pages to find the link to skip through it (or just spam tab>enter), at the end of the day, with debug mode enabled, just use the "Go to Passage" and enter "Go to bedroom". You'll jump back to the bedroom without any problems.
Really though, I don't think the game will be for you if you can't even read about someone being teased. Things start getting a lot more extreme in all facets for all characters. Or at least they used to. I haven't played the "SFW" version so I don't really know how far things have been gimped, but it's better to err on the safe side.
I hadn't gotten into any of the actual Cheer Squad stuff only the scene where you are tripped, bullied and then made out to be a sexual predator. That scene in the hall and the subsequent follow-up with your teacher are the only two scenes so far in the entire game that threw me for a loop and hit me due to my own real-life issues from my own youth. Namely, I had Cheerleaders pull this exact type of thing on me in HS and I almost ended up in Juvie over it because no one believed me when I told them the truth. So take your opening comment and please, please put it somewhere else. It is as bad as kink-shaming someone. I just wanted to know if that scene was avoidable at all, and if so, how.

I won't, the world isn't some hugbox, and you should know that not everything is about you. Throwing kink shaming at me like its a bad thing is pretty pointless. It's a non-issue to me. So when something is "as bad as" it, I could care less. People shouldn't be shouting their kinks to the world in the first place. Keep it to yourself and anyone you share a bed with.
It was an easy question to ask "Any way to avoid the cheerleader content? I'm not too into it.", but you had to go on a tirade after reading a single passage. You didn't want to "just know" if the scene was avoidable or not. If you did, you would have just continued on to see if it was. Intentionally or not, you really just wanted to grandstand and air out your personal baggage when no one asked you to, or cares.
In any case. It's over and done with, and I've said my piece.
I gave you a surefire way of avoiding it. Though I'm quite sure you could just go home and skip it entirely in the game. You used to be able to.

The part that's optional is in fact not the cheerleaders but the cheerleading; that is you joining the squad after finishing your work sentence with them. If you want to avoid all content with the cheerleaders delete the statement leading to 'Cheer Ep0 Sc1' from the game. In an umgimped 1.21 that'd be the following lines:

Did you enable Avatar in Settings? I'm pretty sure it's not on by default.
Also... depending on when you turn it on, it may not even work properly, since a lot of things have been introduced since then and it wasn't even finished when it was "Current" avatar.

The patch doesn't work properly. The maid costume didn't disappear immediately but just disappeared a day or 2 later.

It's been a while since I downloaded and played. I did pull the hotfix release.
What happened to the hypnosis sessions? Is this part of the Patreon censorship thing?
The exhausted flag has always been OP. The first time it triggered for me was helping Buxton set up the office supplies trap. MC comes home with the flag set, yet it is therapist day. I didn't try napping on this release to see whether it would clear, but remember that was pointless on previous releases. So I ended up jumping into the console to manually clear it. At the very least, a nap should clear this thing for anything other than maybe the death march workout cheerleader event.
I think the best friend has a couple of problems/bugs. First, the little black dress seemed to trigger on a teacher task prematurely when MC didn't really have a task open at the moment. I should have tracked the scenario, but I think it was right after Buxton told MC to start wearing flats.
Secondly, MC has trap loving bf do the waxing for them mid-week as a teacher task. Then a couple of weeks later when hair returns, it seems to come back as a teacher task for no good reason. Both times, bf loves perving on mc while they do the nasty. However the third time, mc shows up for fun in the bf supplied corset, panties, stockings, lbd and heels for some fun, but bf blows him off for having hair. WTF? You would think this swimteam pervert should be raring to go with the single use panties and the wax every time it's needed.
Alternatively, there should be a morning pop up notice to mc that they have hair. If that happens midweek, there's no recourse until the weekend when the beauty salon becomes available. Instead, either that salon should be available everyday, or there should be a stop gap measure to buy kits at the general store in the mall so that they can DIY their bush.

Buxton's random tasks are bugged. MC had just had his male clothes thrown away a couple of days earlier and goes into the weekend refusing to stay caged. Not having saved on the Friday briefing, I can't remember the exact state of things demanded, but don't recall having any tasks issued.
Monday, getting ready for school, I see MC needs to be hit on by a stranger. MC goes into hallway and only gets a comment about keeping the hair off for next week. I remember in previous versions that MC could go to bf for this task so head on over. However there's no teacher task link. So I back history scumm and head off to the mall instead. MC does the hit on task. However now there's a popsicle task right after. Tuesday check after dressing for school has both checked off as completed tasks. The hallway interrogation only notes the popsicle task being completed. MC gets assigned the flash chastity task. Goes home, remove panties, goes to mall, flashes chastity. i haven't played this game in ages, have they genuinely removed all hypnosis content? I mean the gifs etc were never that important but without some visuals it's kinda sad
