So it's all written in code without any type of assist? Nothing like rpg maker or game studio?

I feel really dumb, but I don't see any options to do anything with the mother to be able to get past the very first obstacle of not getting detention from the teacher... peeping in the bathroom doesn't work and I don't see an option to go into her room?
When you peep, choose the option to actually open the door. I don't think looking through the keyhole is enough.

Peeping on her through the keyhole or door won't work, but the electronics store might have something to help you see.
To go to her room, you need an excuse. In a related story, her alarm clock is out of batteries again.
On the other hand, if you want to get up and visit her at night, you need a functioning alarm of your own.

This can really add to the gameplay by adding custom .webm ; webm can be found easier than animated gifs and can be created easily in pornhub also.

Not trying to complain because this is one of my favorite games right now and has been for a while. Just wish the trello and github got updated more often.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the event you're talking about happens almost at the end of the School Slut route and therefore there's no way to interact with Ashley or the cheer squad at this point.
There's another way to get permacaged much earlier in the game. After you've given up the key you have to refuse the "sweet weekend release" and have the cage on for 6 weeks. The teacher then gives you an offer you can't refuse (literally - it's a scripted event, can't miss it) and the permacage ensues.
This also leads to a second event, where the nurse may be able to remove it... this has both positive and negative outcomes, probably don't have to point out which is which, but the positive outcome is quite good and leads to another kind of weekend reward.
is there any way to increase relations with the Friend past 4 ? The walkthrough in the OP doesnt mention them at all

Have you started the Therapist quests yet?? At some point she'll give you ideas which can help you get closer to your friend for eg, like buying the sensuous massage oil. I think that should lead to an increase.
Also, couldn't help but notice a few of the planned contents. In particular, the attached snap. Now this is a game based on real porn images. Does the dev plan on adding real images for all the planned contents as well, like the one shown in the snap??
The whole massage oil hasn't really been a part of the game for quite a few updates, and it doesn't even do anything now as far as I know. For now the rank for the friend doesn't matter much and his progress is instead directly linked to regular progress and what's up with you... including to the point that it'll just skip to the end-point if you decide to not tell the friend about your issues, once you're locked to women's clothes he'll progress to his end anyway once you go visit him.
April Ryan is Keriax. It's not stolen and even then they got permission from Aika and Sarath before putting it into the game.

Damn. Had a good run... Lol. You were literally 5 hours ahead of all the patreon content (sans avatar) being moved into public. Anyhow, here's the announcement for the next release!
The PE Development Team is excited to share with you: Perverted Education .8600! This has been an exceptionally busy month for me outside of PE, but thankfully the team was able to pull it together with a friend-centric update as well as a few small scenes that will set up the future of PE. New additions:
- New teacher task - In the lead up to wearing a girl’s school uniform, the teacher will now require that the main character wear flats to school with his male uniform in order to reduce is payment.
- New friend content - Friend now helps with two more teacher tasks: try on clothes at the mall and wear flats.
- Teacher perversion level 11 added - For now, there is only the intro to this route and no content, but will be adding some very soon. The intro also includes a scene to transition the bully route to perversion level 11, which requires a threesome between the main character, bully, and coach.
- Patreon Club basement scene is now available to all patrons.
- Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused the teacher to not refer to the auction winner correctly.
- Various text fixes
Known issues:
- Several bugs involving the wager and debt at the clinic remain unfixed.

An issue was reported that was preventing users from accessing new friend scenes if they didn’t have any of the old friend tasks active. This update is only the .html file. You will need the images folder from .8600 for the game to run properly (simply replace the PE.html file from .8600 with this one).
A larger hotfix will be posted in a couple days with several more text fixes and bug fixes.
