I remember playing this game very early and it was meh. How is it with the latest updates? Worth playing or still the same?

Worth playing. Animations included are excellent and the art plus narrations have only gotten better

It's entirely possible this update is incompatible with older saves, I've seen it happen alot.

Not sure at all about that though.

You could just activate skip till you get back to your previous progress.

That's not possible with the game structure, you HAVE to go to school and other repetitive tasks like grind in order to progress. It's not like a pure vn.

Try these saves to see if they work. Might not have 100% of the old stuff done, can't remember. Use console to change name.

-Twister scenes with Rachel and Evelyn at home after which there will be unlocked one option of hanging out with them

-Scene with Kelly in her shop

-2 more nude photos of Sakura at the Red Maiden

-3 scenes with Monica and Lina in the pool

-Main character can pay his debt (finally!)

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
