I don't really know why devs put voice acting in their games too. The majority of players mute it, prefer the voices they themselves make up in their own heads and not to mention its expensive. Its a thing to do when you've got surplus money to spend and you don't need something else, like upgrading your rig.

and this could just be me, but I read way faster than VA's talk. Its why I also dislike audio books.

The one for miracle tried sounding like a loli and it doesn't match Miracles looks at all,
should have a more smooth young adult tone shes 18 not 13.

Yeah and I read he hired 4 voice actresses... I would have hired ONE to animate the sex scenes instead. Cause that could use some work, instead of voices people mute anyways...
Sorry to rub it in Dev, But damn... Wtf you thinking?? If the sex scenes aint perfect, you don't add voices, untill the scenes are perfect... It like adding a new name to a crappy cola, to make it sound like it tastes just as good as Coca Cola...

Good Voice actors on audio books even sometime hit the voice you make in your head while reading the book yourself. sadly there are way to less good once.

the Voice in VN's i myself think can be good if having the fitting voices for the chars, but not as a "we waited long for the new chapter and only get voice" update, if it had come included in the CH.7 or even as a side update after CH.7 it would be, from my point of view, better.

but its the Dev who decides what is priority, not the once who support.

So do they acknowledge the incest in the voice acting? I really don't like it when certain words are omitted in the voiced lines. Really kills me immersion in games like Awakening.

Having the voice actors acknowledge the incest is a very good way to get my patreon paged banned, considering they don't allow incest. =]

I love the voice acting, it really adds a lot. The voices fit the characters, and are well done. I agree with the earlier comment in some places there isn't a way around the gaps, but in others can make it generic on the VO, ie

This game is to great and I hate waiting for just voice in chapter 1, this is chapter 6.

Well I will just wait till chapter 7 comes out then.

I literally just decided to add the voice acting a few weeks ago, so you have to understand that these things take time. But chapter 7 isn't far away at all, about a week it will be out.

My phone is charging right now but I'll definitely play this when its done, voice acting adds a touch of realism.

What would really be awesome is asmr talking during erotic and romantic dialogues.

There definitely will be a lot of moaning and good stuff when they voice the sex scenes, they are all comfortable with moaning and everything else. =]

yea it would be weird if they ignore that, i have not tested it yet, downloaded 9 games i had not updated and this was on that download list, but thought it was continuation and not addon so it went to the back of the line for now

you have to understand that patreon bans incest so I couldn't possibly make the voice actors say anything related to that, or risk getting my page banned.

SW is doing the work of 8 with 64 games going at once...so only first chapter voiced up...but if succulent female voices chatting back at you is important....this is top o the heap stuff...i never play with sound but these are really well done...i highly suggest though you turn off music because sometimes its comes in during speech and becomes a cacaphony...so that's SW's next task..try to avoid them muddling together.

Yeah, I might have to consider that, but turning down the music is very very easy. All you have to literally do is go to the preferences and turn the volume down

Voice acting is one big waste, unless it's a fully animated movie. All that a games needs is moaning during sex scenes, everything else is a waste, sorry to say... I click as fast as I can, just NOT to hear the terrible voice acting... Stop it while you still can and focus on the important parts, THE SEX SCENES!! If they are not great, everything else don't matter... Cause it's a porn game! I seriously don't understand the lunacy of the devs some times... Always focusing on the wrong things...

I consider these way more than porn games. I'm trying to write an actual story with deep characters that you fall in love with and root for. Not just a fuckfest. I am trying to give you guys a professional game, and write the best story possible WITH sex. I will never write an empty game with just porn and no story or great characters.

I'm trying to bring the best possible experience to all you guys. The 4 voice actors killed it, andI think those who enjoy voice acting will really appreciate this. And for people like you who don't enjoy it, feel free to mute =]

Btw, I've announced on my patreon that the game is getting animations. They're already done from Ch. 1 - Ch.6, but I'm working on chapter 7 right now and will release the animations after that. So either this month or next

Ugh...voice acting. No offense, but I always play with sound turned off because I find voice acting....yuck. Some people appreciate it I guess, I feel it's just cringe and detracts from everything. The voice never sounds how I imagined, and I read fast so I find it annoying.

I guess I'm one of those types that like to read and not be read to. No biggie, its there now for those who like it. I'll just continue to play with no sound.

That does not really answer how it is handled. Are lines changed or are there weird blank pauses in the dialogue where the words should be? Are there alternate recordings in the patch? I've liked voice acting when it's not selective and you get to hear kinky shit that is atypical to say, your average anime dub.

I think if a game is kind of shallow in it's writing, the voice acting might add a hook to the game. But these characters are pretty lovable in their own merits, seems like it could detract. It might actually work great for your second game since that's pretty fresh. It is hard to adjust when voice acting is added late, because we kind of already had their voices in our minds. We can fantasy cast anybody, where as when you get porn game voice actors, best you can broach is like early 2000s anime dub quality. At least if I'm using Sylvia and the Awakening as a baseline. I'm almost afraid to listen to the audio because it might shatter my image of the characters. What if Paris sounds like an 86 year old chain smoker? I'd laugh, then cry.

I get that you can mute it, and it's your choice to make. But I do want to make sure you know your characters ARE strong and they do stand on their own without a need to create any additional draw. So should something go awry with the plans and the voices end up being delayed or cancelled, you can be confident we love these girls enough to keep reading.

Full voice acting is a heavily debated topic in AAA games. Trying to add voice acting into a small indy porn game seems like a good way to kill said game. Good writing and art will get you so much further than any quality voice acting.
