You have already deviated from the once-promised schedule of an update each month, somewhat understandably, due to holidays and your move and whatnot, but have yet to show you can go back to a more regular schedule since. And now you announce a second game.
I've seen developers taking on multiple projects be to the detriment to the original project, and to the work pace in general. I have no doubt you've seen this happen as well. So rather than name-calling us and banning any and all discussions concerning your decision, maybe try to engage with the community and abate these concerns?

Fair question. And the answer is yes, since a week ago.

I spent all December fixing bugs and expanding the engine, and when January came I finally found a place to relocate to. So I made a post on SS offering every active supporter a free month. That's the info these guys are omitting from their "eye-opening" claims about my work ethics.

But hey, no problem. If they want to spend their days spewing far-seeing prophecies of my doom... what can I say? Have fun?

So doing a right exempts you from doing any wrongs now? Instead of addressing valid concerns and arguments, you surround yourself with yes men, block nay-sayers and act like a child. If those are your work ethics, I'm not impressed.

The parallels between this new project of yours and the state of the LoK game are hilariously depressing, and it honestly baffles me you're not seeing them for yourself.

I've not played this game, and intend giving it a go when you are furhter ahead. But I follow it as I was fairly impressed with some of the work on LOK (furry is not my thing). I comented on this purely as the post got my curiosity, mainly as I could not work out your plans for Pizza Cold. Was it a joke on Patreon being too strict, was it a way to get extra subscribers without annoying Patreon (giving them sneaky access to Pizza Hot) or wa it re-using the engine for a different audience (thos who don't want the hardcore smut).

Honestly I'm still not overly sure, the only thing I do know is multiple projects generally means more time. Though sometimes a change helps focus. Hopefuly this is not a message of doom, just honest feedback. Appreicate you may habe posted more elsewhere.

Yeah that kinda worries me too. But not too much, he promised monthly updates and I hope he will get back on track.
I'll keep following this, the framework is still great, only needs more content. Especially of the depraved kind.

I get that this dev has a history with some people here and there is bad blood but it's pretty much a he said she said situation and I can't be arsed to give a shit.

I really don't get what this drama is about.. Dev went on a tiny hiatus (AND kept people up-to-date (AND refused to take money in that time period)) and suddenly people turned into monkeys. There are games that have gone through YEARS of radio silence that have been received better than this.

There's people following this project just for the sake of starting drama with the developer. You're probably above the age of 18, try to act like it. Pretend like you understand what having a job looks like and what getting paid for working means.

I think further discussion is unnecessary. I think the whole point of F95 is to advertise a product, and if you and your game is good enough, then more and more people will likely support the development.

So in the end, it is good that this 'debate' has happened. At least now it is more visible who is trustworthy, and who is not.

Idk whats the deal with pizza cold thing but as long as we get constant updates all is fine, it doesnt have to be monthly despite whatever promise you might have told people. Personally i think it will be worth the wait if we will get to see Jessica wearing them shorts in cafe

People expecting devs to work flawlessly, arent them the same people who has many flaws on their own daily work life? Otherwise wouldnt world become a much better place and we'd have flying cars by now? (just an example) The dev of Jessica O'neil brought the latest update in fckin 6 months but im glad he still did, what if it became another abandoned project like millions of others in the site? Most of the time, its better to have something late than not having it at all...
