Yeah, that's not trolling or toxicity. That's called legitimate criticism that the dev didn't want to hear.
Not saying it is, just where he said it in the thread. And honestly, the line between trolling / toxicity and legit criticism can be easy to cross at times and can vary from person to person where it is. Obviously Abelius thought it went beyond just criticism, and decided to not bother with this (a pirate forum) anymore.

I haven't weighed in on this subject before, but Abelius doesn't seem to grasp the basic psychology of consumers of porn, especially on this site. I've seen many games with slow or minor updates, but there wasn't much objection if there was some really good sex material early on to keep people satisfied and show his ability to do that. Having passengers on the bus run their hands up her blouse or down her pants or having cafe patrons do the same, even pranking her by exposing her tits or ass, would keep people satisfied for quite a while but if you have none of that people here get vocal pretty quick. I keep checking in because I love the art style, and I don't think he will read this but I wish he'd realize that.
I mean for real if u look trough his discord and the teasers ,bro is been milking the same animation of walking like for almost 2 years lol

So let me get this straight... people have been waiting, from what I gather and I might be wrong, a year or more now for any interesting new content?
You see, I get the entire slow corruption setting and I've seen those a thousand times by now, enjoyed plenty as well, but never in my like 5 years on this site have I seen, or at least cared enough to check in, a game where the most hardcore scenes are masturbation and massages, where the latter without cheats, takes an unnecessary amount of grinding to even get the protag to bust.
The basic explanation of the game is basically: Innocent countryside girl goes to college in a big city but due to circumstances ends up living with some stranger and her creep of a father. She finds a part time job at a pizza place and then goes home. That's basically it.
So that makes me wonder if the entire clothing system and shopping mall is at all even necessary in the first place at this very moment, given the fact that most clothes would be locked behind a grind wall. That's also not mentioning whether clothes would make a detrimental change to the entire gameplay, nor if the supporters that have been waiting for anything more than groping would even go beyond picking whatever looks and works as the most slutty outfit around. Assuming they wont just ask for a save file to see scenes to begin with.
This feels like another Yandere simulator game. Things get added that dont need to be added yet, as core gameplay elements are unfinished or havent even begun to be worked on in the first place. That's ignoring any technical flaws and bugs the game might have.
At this point I'd just love to see any passion for this game, or at the very least have it become abandoned. Hire someone that can actually help out to speed up progress and polish for the game. I'm also not taking the entire money problem argument, because people are being asked to whip up a pretty hefty sum of monthly income in total for a below average tier game with no update schedule, because as of right now, this is just a Slice of Life walking simulator with sexual themes. I'm saying hefty because it's been 6 months and around 10k down the drain, out of peoples wallets, for... a shopping centre, clothing and maybe, just maybe a repeatable softcore event which is likely going to be spanking, which many might not even enjoy.
Just as a comparison, to give a good idea of why exactly this is so frustrating to me, is that DoL has an upcoming update that people have been waiting for 5 months now, despite usual updates dropping every month. However, the upcoming update is HUGE and will 100% change the entire gameplay and approach of the game. It's the pregnancy update.
And yet, not everyone might enjoy that content, right? So they add an extra good bit of content for those that don't like it, so that at the end of the day, after a long wait, everyone is happy.
I know comparing a text based game to a fully animated and drawn Unity game isn't really fair, however it's fair to compare passion and love behind a game, as well as progress.
I'm trying to say there is better out there, which is why people don't want to stick around this game anymore really and give out harsh critique and hell, if you really want to call it that, bullying. People pay money because they want the dev to succeed and play a porn game, and not have the dev spend time on clothes and spanking, when he's not writing some progress page noone really checks into because is gonna be done when he says it will be done.
TLDR: Game bad lmfao, spend your money elsewhere.

Hello everyone, personally I like the content of the game, where you gradually corrupt a girl and she starts to dress more openly and eventually become a prostitute and all sorts of sex scenes are already available there (like glory hole, etc.). But the author unfortunately takes too long to do everything (well, if he does). If this game is the only thing he does and is the only means of income, then I don't understand the delays. If the author has a lot of other things to do, including permanent work, then there are no questions. Is it possible to reduce the subscription?
Last I remember, he claimed that this is his only source of income and that he works 12 hours a day on it.

I love it when a developer follows their creative instincts. This game is different from most games we see on this forum. If you can't wait for it to be delivered, stop waiting.
On the contrary, if you can't stop coming back to this thread, there must be something you like about this game. So in that case, trust its creator because let's face it: he's the only one who can complete his project.

What I like about this game is the same thing I like about watching car dashcam accidents. It's fun to look at people messing up.
And that "he's the only one who can complete his project" is also a blatant lie and you know it. This isn't Parasite in City pixelart which takes a fuckton amount of time to animate and work on, despite that game having it's flaws as well. Which is why the closest thing we will ever get to a sequel is Syahatas Bad Day, which you can find on this site as well.
Games like this one already exist, even with a very similar if not same artstyle, and the one from the top of my head immediately screams Insexity. Girl lives in apartment she has to pay rent for, works part-time as a masseuse and has also plenty of lesbian scenes with her friend and her friends messed up mother, has corruption stats and starts out innocent and squeamish without a fat dose of alcohol, but later turns into a willing prostitute who just likes to fuck.
With that in mind, anyone who could copy the artstyle and with decent coding skills as well as basic animation skills could recreate this, except for where the story was originally supposed to go (which in it's current state feels like nowhere).
Creative or not, at the end of the day this game offers nothing other games haven't achieved yet, which isn't a bad thing mind you. However, it just adds to the point that the way too slow updates added with the lacking amount of content make it just that, a bad game that people don't want to support.
Lastly, I am not waiting for it to be delivered, because I've plenty of other games I check into, games I like and care about. I played this 0.7 (!) version because I liked the premise, but it was so underdelivered that in it's current state I couldn't even consider it a porn game, which it's supposed to be.
There is people out there on the other hand who do care about this game, people who pay small or lots of money for it to be completed, which man, my heart goes out to all of you who do, since you're in an abusive relationship with the dev.
Side note: I do wonder if the 0.7 is supposed to mean it's 70% completed, because if it is then I am sorry but it's gonna end before the protag gets to do anything beyond dressing lewdly and maybe give head to an "important character" like the pizza hut manager.

I doubt it, since Abelius seems to be more learned in programming than an average person, it's likely more typical versioning (or so I hope, considering the amount of content lacking like you mentioned). If it's what it should be, the '.' in version is not a decimal point, but a separator between major/minor/patch versions. Each number can go from 0 to whatever, so you can have 0.9.0 update to 0.10.0, as it doesn't indicate progress relative to the end, but rather progress in general.
As for why there's a letter at the end... well... I'm going to ignore that, cause it beats me :shrug:

I meant that Abelius is the only one who can finish the game because he is the creator, unless someone chooses to steal his work...
It's not a game, it's a game in development. It took you almost 15+ years to get a driver's license. So I'm sure with a little effort you can wait until a game is finished before you judge it.

Just like Abelius has the right to create the game and stall it indefinitely, I have the right to judge it as a game. Just to compare to games I've brought up before, Degrees of Lewdity is still in development, yet it is an amazing text-based game. Syahatas bad day is still in development and so far shows not only more potential, but also replayability than this gam- ah sorry, cashgrab of a product, that you try to defend.It's not a game, it's a game in development. Not even gonna touch the 15+ years of waiting for a drivers license. Comparing waiting for a low effort porn game to an actual real life changing event is crazy to me.
Although I get the point that you want me to wait because it is an unfinished product. But that is not the issue here. People are asked to rack up over 2k a month and then wait over 6 months for an update that adds clothing and spanking.
The only slow burn corruption happening with "Pizza Hot", is peoples wallets being drained for nothing. People have been paying hard earned cash for 6+ months in return for NOTHING. I don't understand how you cannot grasp the issue at hand here, which however would explain why you keep harping on the believe that if you "just wait" you might get a finished product.
People on this site have been burned by devs plenty of times, which is why they want to see progress and will complain when they don't get anything in return for their money. You know, as one should. I pay, I get product. I don't get product, I will complain. I get called an impatient hater and troll, I pull the money plug.
And just to make it clear, I am not waiting for it's completion, I don't give two shits. I am not a supporter, I don't pay Abelius a dime.
I am merely calling out a scam, which as of right now of this writing, it is.

My 2-cents on the long wait:
This isn't a Ren'Py game or a RPGM game where the core functionality is given and all you have to do is write a story and render some sexy images + videos. Sure, Unity provides some basics. But going from there to a game that you'd want to play still takes a LOT of work. We essentially got an Alpha version of the "Pizza Engine" in version 0.7 but Abelius decided to make it much more capable instead of just building all content off the limited 0.7 feature set. That slow but steady progress is hard to track here but less so on Discord.
I work as a programmer and the good ones spend extra time up front (assuming management lets them
) to do the core stuff right. That saves themselves much more time down the road in bugs they don't have to fix and complicated revisions that don't have to be made. I respect that choice and I like the promise of the game engine if not the size of the current content. Those who want to support his work can keep him going by contributing (as I have) on Patreon or SStar and everyone else doesn't have to lose anything except possibly their patience. Which some of us clearly have more to spare then others.

True, true, but it does make me wonder what the point of that line was. Was the implication that because someone has to wait 15 years to drive, they should have the patience to wait for a game to finish developing? Cause after I had a good laugh at my own joke, it got me curious.
And yes, I am one of those people who laugh at their own jokes. I'm not proud, but I won't apologize for it. Kinda like my presence on this site, to be honest
