dear dev. I tell you this from love and respect and above all I wish you good luck.
But if everyone finds the same problem with the second mc he thinks maybe they are right. Even if at the end of the game you think that people will like Daniel, by then it will be too late because nobody will be interested anymore. I really don't know if it's an attempt to dodge the famous ntr or not. But that is the general feeling.

Had to think about your comment for a second but it's not as obviouse as you make it out to be that it's everyone that has a problem with where I'm going to take the story. It could very well be only a few that feel the need to point it out to me on this forum.

Now you can say that just because there aren't a thousand people complaining, doesn't mean that there are these people that will enjoy my story. And yes, that's valid but I at least have some people that enjoy my work and after the last month I can confidently say that there are as many people that don't mind where I take this story as there are people complaining to me here in this thread.

Also from a practical standpoint. I already put in a year of work, I'm pretty sure I'm going to finish 'Playing With Fire' now. And if it flops and the only thing I take away is what not to do, then that's fine too (i also take away experience with Daz and renpy). If I don't have a change of mind, my next game is going to be a one MC harem game and it's going to be awesome. If it's not this game than it is the next. It's not like I try to produce something people will hate.

I stumbled across this thread and was wondering why I didn't play this game because the dynamic between Steve and Jenny is right up my alley. Then I re-read the thread and realized it was this double protag game. It's a shame for me, but you're absolutely right, it's your game and your story. If you finish this game and your next game will be a single Protag Harem game i will look out for it, because as a dev you have much potential.

I wish you the best for this game, even if it ended up not being my cup of tea.

For now, I'm liking Steve's story (and I guess with only one update remaining, I don't think that will change). I'll see how Daniel's story is, but for me the MC of this game is and will be Steve, Daniel is "the other guy". Certainly, that's not to say that it can't be interesting to follow his story (or this story from his perspective). But there are things that I prefer not to see, or that don't happen.

In any case, I personally think you are doing a good job with this game.

well, dont know about this... its not only the hair that is very similar to other models i have seen in other games.

Well, of course there is Daniel, well... to say he looks like derek from being a dik doesnt really cut it, fuck he is his twin... besides the hair and this was mentioned before here too, Jennys model is popular too i would say... maybe there are "slight" differences here and there in the face (some moles or so), will not deny that, but overall, she looks very familiar... saw her many times, really, one example would be "come home" (its coming to mind, cause i played is just a week ago, but by far not the only one where i kinda met Jenny before ) yeah there are some differences, but not that much. And i saw her in many other games, cant name them right now, didnt really "saved" it in the back of my head. Marie is familiar too.

But its no problem, you didnt really "copy and paste" models, that is clear. but the looks of Jenny, Marie and Daniel are very familiar around here... looking around the game list you will find them yourself too i think.

But really, dont bother too much with that. They all are looking good and fine. I like the models of Jenny and Marie very much. so everything is fine... but yeah, they arent exactly unique i would say. Or at least familiar. But to be fair... most games around here do have models you have already seen in other games amny times. For example, Layla out of intertwined is seen in many other games too, like "become a rockstar" or "city of broken dreamers" dont know who made her look like that the first time, but man she sure is popular i could put up a really long list with popular models you will probably see in more than 15 games around here... i saw someone like "Jenny" mabye... hm 5 times? Dont hold me for it...

And i should say, i have played so freaking many games on F95... way more than 400 i would say. So it is really not a big thing if i saw some models more than once

Interesting. Yeah, I didn't put a lot of effort into my male characters (Budget problems) but I can assure you that Jenny is 100% my creation. So much so, that I can only use three expressions with her since the other would distort her face in ways that you don't want to see in a Porn Game .

Yeah, thx for the feedback. Still, in my next game I might go with the professional models just because they are more realistic and even somewhat fancy. And as long as they have their own little story I think many are willing to forget that they have already seen them.

Absolutely, if they are looking good, i really dont care that much if i have seen them. Its not that much a "complain" rather then a fact... Sometimes it feels kinda odd to see the same model like in another game (especially if its a big an popular one) but it never ever can ruin a good game and story.

I tried the game and while I was interested in Jenny and Marie path, I was disappointed it meant keeping Jenny as a 'sister' with benefits, not to mention I was hoping once we finished the blackmail to teach her a lesson, we could stop that kind of relationship with her. While I do like Marie very much, I was hoping to get a romantic path with Jenny without the BDSM...and yes, I understand that's Jenny's kink, it's just not mine.

I do like the option that despite whatever WT I can choose, I can also use the cheat option to 'date' the other girls, and I thought Izzy and Lena were interesting, but I would rather just keep them as side-girls/lovers and focus on Marie and Jenny. I know some were frustrated Chloe was off limits for Steve, but I felt like I didn't miss out not being with her.

You should be able to tell her that it‘s serious and still come to the threesome on day six. Also, the last scene of day six is Jenny asking Steve on a date with which I want to indicate that their relationship is going to evolve into a boyfriend girlfriend relationship but they still do kinky stuff.

if you haven‘t seen it yet, I encourage you to activate cheat mode and pursue Jenny‘s romantic and Marie‘s path. There is a special threesome that you can get to in the end without the Dom sub relationship of steve and Jenny. And from what you told me, you‘d enjoy that more.

The truth is that I'm following a romantic route with Jenny without any kind of domination, submission or blackmail. In my game, the final sex scene of this update doesn't have maledom or the like (they don't tie anyone, which for me is appreciated). This update ends with Jenny asking to go on a formal date with the MC.

After Steve's story is finished, I will produce Daniel's story. Yes, you will be able to sleep with Chloe but it will still take a while.

Think you missed the point.... the option for the cough cough main mc to get with Chloe doesn't exist. Since in the OP it states this is a game about one person there is no Daniel involved as that goes against the ops description of what this game was supposed to be. aka a single story about a single boy not a story about 2 different boys. Thereby boy #2 would never be a active person involved with any of the girls that the "Player" fills the shoes of. want to have Daniel in a game make it his own game not mixed with this game and showing girls in this game that the "Player" thinks should be involved with the mc aka Steve. This means all the girls including Chloe not just this one or that one. So according to the below screenshot there is only one mc in this game and you are misleading players. This whole idea of yours is what's hurting you in the supporter side even with all those other links splashing the game everywhere people see how your splitting up your game and not liking it in turn not supporting it. Steve is the person people started playing the game with and should be the one at the end of the game. He is the only boy on the verge of becoming a man.

I'm possibly weird, but I don't mind watching Daniel's story as long as I can get Daniel to not have sex with anyone. As I said before, for me the MC is Steve, but it's posible that the Daniel's perpective of the story is interesting.

I think we're going to have a choice as to whether we want Daniel to have a relationship (or casual sex, I'm not sure) with multiple LIs or not. HighbornTiger, am I wrong?
