Can't seem to interact with anything but the ui elements. All I can do is click wait 30 minutes and go through the automatic events. Am I missing something obvious?

You should just not download and play games labelled as "Female Protagonist" then. If you don't like it, then don't play it. It's really that simple. I for one enjoy playing a Female Protagonist game from time to time. My favorite game, so far, happens to be one! (see signature)
Is it really that hard for you to just ignore a game type you don't enjoy without spewing your drivel into the thread? Please grow up.
You literally can't interact with anything in this game. The previous version you could at least do homework, read, take a nap. Now its just move the clock and wait for something to happen.
I was able to do homework and read. In the bedroom click on the computer circle and then you get the homework option, couch is read and draw, and bed is nap.
On that note though, way to little content to bother with for now.
I don't have a computer circle or anything else. No rooms at the school to choose from, no rooms at home to choose from, can't interact with the family at all.

Did everyone not learn yet a playable game is almost done at version 0.99 or 1.00 until then there is 100% chance of bugs or the developer will abandon the game because probably he got shut down by some chick and got into a depression state or just pure evil fuck them i got my money bye fuckers or his parents banned him from his PC ha ha ha.
I also have the issue of not being able to interact with anything other than the wait 30 minutes. Vaguely remember this game working for me when it first came out even though there was no content. Not sure why it doesn't work now.

It's an old bug. In settings, change your language to russian, then to english again. Should work.
I'm pretty sure it was sarcasm. The thing is, it doesn't matter. Like, at all. Believe it or not Neero9, not only "female perverts" play games with female protagonists, and not only "13 year old boys" play incest games. On contrary, neither gender nor age is matter when we talking about audience of any of these games. Everyone plays that stuff if he\she wants. And every group donates. From young to old. On different percentages of course. Overall, such opinions as @Neero9 is showing us is no more than pile of bullshit and stereotypes that long dead. He's probably one of these people who thinks each of us is in some sort of "caste" that doing what they're "permitted" and naturally should do (at least in their mind).

Yeah one of my antivirus popped on it identifying ransomware. Not the first game I've had the issue with. I just assume that if there are posts from today on the game then it was incorrectly id.

Errrrm, MC came home from school, changed clothes and can't get out of fucking room...Is there some really tiny micro spot to click to advance or is it bug? Only I can do is to advance time by clicking on it and from time to time tiny people icons are dancing across carpet but that's it...

Try going to your preferences and change the language from english to russian and then back to english. If that doesnt fix it, its a bug and needs fresh start

Like i said before, it's an old bug (they said they fixed it, but it still here). Change language to russian and then to english again. Should fix that.
