You don't know how long I've been waiting for a game like this, I really hope this don't get abandoned like most others as this is very promising!!

Few things make me happier than pokemon eroges that actually play like pokemon. The idea of playing one of my favorite childhood game series but now with fucking is truly a positive driving force in my life. Thank you, good luck with your game. I hope we get to the baddddd pokemon fr

Just as a question, any chance we're going to be able to "breed" with them at any point. Just throwing out there cuz I'd knock up a Gardevoir or two long term fr

love how they whine WHY GAME NO EASY?? WHY HARD?? I CANT WIN???? skill issue I guess just get better :D
Purposely making a game hard is purposely making a game bad. Easy is fun, hard is not. The purpose of a game should be for people to play and have fun. If you make a game hard to the point where a large group of people can't advance, which means they can't even play the game due to it's difficulty, then there's no point to the game at all; and that is certainly not fun. This holds doubly true for an H-game, where most people's entire reason for playing is to see the H scenes in the first place. Locking them behind walls a lot of people can't even pass due to difficulty is not good game design in this situation. Challenge is all well and good, up to a point, but there is a point where beating something grossly difficult does not inspire satisfaction, but a feeling of disgust and a desire to never do that again.

Edit: Just to be clear, I haven't even played this yet. I don't know what it's like nor how bad the difficulty is outside of comments made here. I wasn't speaking strictly on behalf of this game. I was speaking of difficult games in general in response to people questioning why people complain about the difficulty.

I don't really get why people are saying this game has an inflated difficulty. I literally just defeated a few wild pokemon while looking at what pokemon were available in the wild, and that paired with the first few trainers was enough to get the starter up to lvl 18 to evolve. Then it gives you a lvl 20 lopunny for free with normal and fighting stab along with powerful moves for both types. That's all I had when I went up to joey, and I took him down with no issue at all. I didn't even expect to be fighting a full team of pokemon and the battle still went off without a hitch.

I suppose I had the leftovers that the game gives you? Are people missing that? Doesn't seem like enough to warrant all these people talking about how hard he was, though. It just felt like any other rival battle that happens in official games when entering a new town sometimes.

Sigh, here we go again. I wish there was a way to pin comments so I wouldnt have to explain the same thing a dozen times, but cest la vie.

1. Joey is meant to be ridiculously hard. The boy is a meme within the community and I purposefully made him bullshit hard as a joke. In fact, prior to Beta-testing, he was MUCH harder, with a competitive moveset such as Leech Seed and Synthesis on the Ferrothorn, and Stealth Rock, Spikes + Stickyweb on his other pokemon. If you think this Joey is hard, you should try your luck against Alpha Joey. You would need to do EVERYTHING you mentioned, prepping the right team, with the right moveset.

2. Game has an options menu where you can adjust the speed of text and make running your default option. Dont know why nobody thinks of checking the options.

3. Yes, I agree that pacing is an issue, but that will be addressed in future builds.

1. I didn't even check the rest of his mons, I just saw level 16 and thought that that was how the rest of the game was going to be. Sure, I CAN do it. But quite frankly I don't see the need to bother.

2. I made the text fastest. I can read quicker than a 6 year old.

3. It's the point of betas to iron out issues.

Anyway, back to point 1: making something bullshit hard as a joke, while it may get a giggle, is not good game design unless A) the game is meant to be "bullshit hard", B) the player has plenty of tools to deal with it, or C) it's optional.

You go and make whatever game you want. This is just my opinion, obviously. I'm not expecting something of the quality of Reborn to be made in less than multiple years.

Addendum: I've played hard games where I had to spend hours researching, plannig, catching, training, etc., but that is a lot of effort and it's only worth doing for a very few selection of games. As I said, I CAN beat just about any encounter. It's a question of effort vs. reward.

And when I read about difficulty I expected something way worse.
The only hard battle was the last one on the bridge, yet still almost beat it with two pokemon only.
After that, with the breeder, it just got really easy. Gym leader was smashed by a lvl 40 Lobunny...

Overall, art is good. I think it has a decent progress. I even thought that early great ball was to catch that Mightyena, but I didn't felt the need to use it.

Will you add the follower script to this game? I think it would be cool (if it makes sense with what you're planning)

In that case, you are simply not part of the demographic I cater to. That's all there is to it. I hate easy pokemon games with a passion, and I will not bend over backwards to make the casuals happy. If the Hentai is all you're looking for, you can always avoid the game completely and dig through the Game's folder for the artwork.

Considering how anal Nintendo is about porn content, especially around new Pokemon releases, and considering SV just launched, I give this project approximately before it gets C&D'd

I have already provided many crutches. The PC in your room has 5 potions, you have that super potion, and a vending machine + 3000 Money all from the get go. Right beside said PC is a Leftovers held item.

It really isn't the fault of the game that you as the player don't explore.
Those are not crutches lol When you make it required to need at least one potion to do the fight it goes from crutch to necessity lol.

And if you got to explain things over and over again on forums it's a bad sign as a game dev lol. I like challenges but this game is just making things hard to create more content I mean it works I normally farm first mobs for exp, but it's silly to talk like it's anything more than an excuse to lengthen the game to make all that mandatory.

I disagree. There are already people here who actually know how to play a pokemon game and have no trouble beating the first Battle with no items and assistance. And I have to repeat things over and over because apparently people dont bother to read changelogs, pay attention to in-game warnings/information, or even bother exploring.

10/10 dev response.
