Something I've learned recently to cope with internet critique is that these people talk WILD because they don't have to look someone in the eye to say it. They forget they're talking to a person. They're going for the big 'own' because they think that's how you win arguments and everything is an argument on the internet. If they're coming at you crazy just write down what they dislike in one sentence then banish the comment from your mind.

If I can give you some constructive criticism that I didn't see in the thread:

UI:
  • The card inventory system would benefit from a sorting system as well as a filter (alphabetical, number of duplicates, ect).
  • Currently selling a duplicate card gets rid of the first one in the card list instead of the specific card sold.
  • An icon or sound indicating a new card draw when opening packs would be nice.
  • If the card design is more-or-less set, mousing over a card in the hand should pull it out further, potentially even push the other cards away slightly to be able to see more of the card than just the top. You might also want to consider a semicircular fan instead of a straight line across the bottom.
  • Players already did the math about values when there's a clash, if you're set on the numbers counting up, I'd do them simultaneously instead of one at a time, it's not jarringly slow, but it's an unnecessary wait.
Game:
  • Buying the $100 pack currently nets you a minimum of $100 back, so that's an infinite-money exploit.
  • Implement a deck size minimum, otherwise people can run 4-card decks to guarantee their intended hand.
  • (Unconfirmed) Coffee Break can be played after a second performer card was placed and have no effect on the score. I say unconfirmed because I *think* it happened once and I still won but I wasn't paying attention to the totals.
  • Cards without the link capability are kinda trash in comparison to the linked pairs.
  • Only being able to do one action a turn kinda sucks, and it just results in slower games since the action and finisher cards don't do anything as of right now. You could potentially assign 'types' to performers and have them gain bonuses if the action/finisher matches (maybe unlinkable cards can have a larger bonus), or allow a simultaneous play of two card categories per turn.
THIS ^
i didn't know about the selling exploit but I definitely did mention the hand thing and been meaning to bring it up again since the dev didn't mention it. handling your hand is super cumbersome and being able to see the stats of the card your mouse hovers or you click is digital card game design 101. Even the original having cards discard via 1 click was troublesome due to the occasional accidental click.

Something that can elevate a game of this type, is to institute some form of user-content that is easily accessible. If you make it possible for people to add girls of their own, they will want to. If you make doing so readily accessible to them, they will keep doing so. But I know moving from Unity Resources to external urls for videos and screen images requires different code. This also takes the pressure off you for making girl-content and instead lets you focus on adding game mechanics. (I can already see there's some girlpack creators looking at this)
I would imagine modding in girls for this could be pretty easy for the modder. You'd just need the images for the girl and several videos. Now finding a way to do that dev side, or make the girls stats works, I don't know. Definitely not a lot of stuff for the modder to need to add stuff.

As a fan of TCG type games and preferring games with real girls, I love the idea of this game. With a few bug fixes here and there it has awesome potential. The database of cards could definitely explode with modders able to assist.

One suggestion outside of bug fixes that would be nice is if there was a button in the deck builder tab that allowed you to organize cards alphabetically. It would make selling duplicates so much easier. Keep up the fantastic work. Cheers

Thank you for making a fix but I'm still having problems resizing the window to be able to fit the game buttons on the outside. There does not seem to be a way for me to make the screen any smaller or fix the aspect ratio, the update did help in aligning the window but not completely, at least not enough that I can play the game. Thank you.
Did you use the escape button to have a window display? If so, could you tell me at what resolution or aspect ratio your screen is? Thanks!

I forgot about that in the changelog but I changed the way they are displayed in 1.0.1. It's still not perfect as I plan to improve it more in the future, I wanted to have a real functionning version out as soon as possible.

Got myself a nice table in an Excel with the improvements suggested so far, so it's definitely not the last update :)

3440x1440, I can put the game in windows display but I can't seem to make it smaller, just puts a border around it. I did fix it by putting my resolution down to 2560x1440

I wanted to share my critique (no offense).
The game has great potential, but the BUGS (of the most basic kind) are incredibly frustrating.
Now, it’s down to just a few key things, starting with balancing.

I think it would be great to add another mechanic that has recently become popular, called MERGING. (
Here’s how it works: if we have a card (let’s say) of EPIC level and we have 4 of them (this is IMPORTANT), then by merging 4 cards, we are guaranteed to get an EPIC card (but with a different character and different stats). However, there’s still some RANDOMNESS—there’s a chance we might get one of the cards we used for merging ^_^.

This gives players a CHANCE to turn weaker cards (let’s say, non-epic level) into better ones, but with lower success rates.
For example:

  • Merging 4 MID-LEVEL cards could give you an EPIC card, but with a 50% chance.
(The percentages are approximate and can always be adjusted.)
This mechanic could also apply to CARD TYPES. For instance:

  • If we merge action cards, we are guaranteed to get another action card.
  • If we merge 3 action cards and 1 other type, then we’d have a 75% chance of getting an action card.

A similar mechanic can be found in many games, such as Warframe and The First Descendant, for those who have played them.

I hope the idea is clear.

P.S.
Again, everyone has their own preferences, but I’ve come across an issue where the characters I find appealing CANNOT use DUAL CARDS -_- Meanwhile, some other characters (… no offense) work perfectly in synergy, both with identical cards and with others.
I find this a bit confusing. There should be some kind of visual indicator showing that a card WON’T work in synergy (for example, a red crossed-out corner or something similar).
I’ve also noticed that the AI (PC) has cards that are not available (at least) in the collection, which seems strange. For example, I’ve often come across Angel Dark (not to be confused with Angel White). Is this a bug in the collection (gallery), or is she obtainable?

Additionally, I’d suggest adding an item (let’s say priced at $500 in the in-game shop—just an example, no need to make it so expensive ^_^) that significantly increases the chances of obtaining a card for a specific actress the player wants. The idea is that a list of options would appear, allowing the player to choose their preferred actress, and the chances of getting her card would increase. Why not???
When asked, "Why is this needed?" the answer is simple: for the sake of the collection ^_^.
Or (looking ahead), what if THIS specific card ends up synergizing with another one? In that case, it could become far less useless...

Alright, so I went over the thread quickly and saw some pretty good advices to improve the game.

First, let me just start by saying I (hopefully) could fix the game breaking bugs and the resolution. I posted an update request with the changelog and new download links (only GDrive has same link so v1.0.1 si already on that host). I went quickly over the thread and there is great feedback with good ideas to pimp up the game/game design. I will look more into it later and I thank everyone that takes the time to propose ideas.

Now, the initial replies were indeed a little bit hard to cope with. Sure, I could have posted multiple prototypes along the way I learned how to make a game, but I wanted to offer a more complete product than early work, something I unfortunatly think happens frequently on the site.

Am I a full time game maker? Hell nah. Do I like learning and thought the idea of a porn CCG game interesting? Hell yea. But I do not aspire to be a full-time developer nor to create the next Heartstone.

With that being said, I test builds the best I can but it is hard to spot bugs when I know exactly how the game runs so I am glad I received feedbacks pointing out major issues. The delivery was impactful but the content was relevant. Getting subs and followers was meaningful and am grateful for that.

So all in all, feedbacks are and will always be welcomed, even from non-patreons. I thank everyone who made positive comments or not being hard on me and I am looking toward the future with something we all enjoy that unites us; boobs and vagines.

Cheers!

First of all, I appreciate the fact that you haven't disappeared after publishing your game, as is unfortunately often the case. The game has a certain charm and great potential. I encourage you to continue in this direction to make it an excellent title.

Important point:
I noticed something that might be confusing: I couldn’t find the version number of the game in the interface. I saw your post announcing the update and downloaded the "new version," but once in the game, there’s no clear indication of the current version. Is that intentional?

Ideas:

  1. Make the videos that appear during actions ephemeral (automatically cut off). This could enhance the desire to rewatch them by creating a sense of rarity. I think this would be more effective than the current loops.
  2. Limit the rounds to a maximum of 2 hearts for each participant (player and AI), regardless of the difficulty level. Currently, 4 hearts make the game feel too long. The difficulty would then rely on the "strength" of the available cards rather than the number of rounds.

Optional:
Add multiple videos per act, with 2 or 3 random variations for the same act and actress. This would provide more diversity.

Bugs detected:

  • If the AI attacks while no character has been placed (on the player's side), there is indeed a loss of heart (expected behavior).
  • However, if a character has been placed (player), no heart loss is recorded for the player (bug).

Question:
As the game’s developer, what is your overall vision for the combat system?

  • For example, do you see it as a sort of competition between actresses, each trying to outshine the other? Perhaps like a contest where the goal is to reach climax first?

I’d be curious to hear your perspective and inspirations!

been trying to think of a way to make the action and finisher cards have a meaningful in game mechanic. Right now my current idea is to add bonuses if you match certain actions with finishers. like +10 attack if you match blowjob with facial.

BUG = if you put (the main attack card) in the DUO SLOT, and not in the main card slot -This will essentially cause SOFT LOCK because we will not be able to do anything else (except surrender -_-). When trying to put a card in the MAIN slot, the animation may play (if the ACTION card is put), but the card will not appear in the SLOT. HOW to get this? I don't know... o_O
№1 Screenshot_1.png №2 Screenshot_2.png
P.s. What's the point of FINISHER cards? If all actions essentially depend on the ACTION card? -_-

Apart of the many design mistakes that already pointed out in my review. Its crazy that you have to randomly unlock the action cards since they are a HUGE chunk of content in the game. I've open quite a bit of booster packs and I don't get anal sex neither blowjob action cars... I think there's also masturbation? Anyone knows which rarity are this cards?
Also the card copies don't piling...
