Let's wrap it up guys. We are going around in circles.
This is a fantasy, anything was and is possible if the Dev wanted it to be if you are trying to be realistic then Sterling have no chance against hunter like in anyway. the story would have ended in the start like what hunter did with Erik or one of the so called non canon bad ends would have been the fate of sterling. But even some of these bad ends don't make sense, hence the reason why I said there should have been some fun with this "suspension of disbelief" thing in the main game too instead trying to be too realistic. But these badends have one thing in common that, sterling gets fucked in them, literally in one of them, now that's what's realistic scenario because a weakling like sterling wouldn't stand a chance against someone like hunter who's always having an eye on him and sterling is shown just trying to seduce the household, while in a real world scenario it would have taken two or more to tango.
I said some bad ends would have definitely been the fate of anyone in a real world scenario, take for example, the bear bad end anyone in a real world wouldn't have run like a cat just because he heard a twig crack in the woods and if that means getting eaten by a bear so be it. Unless he is indeed scared of the dark then he wins.
I said some bad ends don't make sense, for example, the feminization bad end, in a real world that bad ended wouldn't have ended in "happy meals" if the person whom hunter tried to feminise didn't already had the tendency to enjoy such things even if he enjoyed it he wouldn't want to be forced by someone like hunter that would either leave the person crazy because of all that shit regardless of the drugs hunter was using on them or something even worse.
I don't have insight on other bad ends otherwise I am sure I would have spotted some irregularities in them.
Hopefully for the last time, I will try to convey what I was trying to say. In its current state the canon story of the game totally makes sense, I am not saying it doesn't, what I am saying is that it wouldn't have been non sense if it was pushed a little further into MC having more of a spine and brain.
To me it's either a clear marketing mistake.
Or it was intentional, in which case Dev should stop beating around the bush and be upfront that the characters personalities are deliberately made like that to amuse the NTR audience. Which should have been fine but if it was Clearfield.

Honestly seeing the same general constant arguments and bickering in every thread I frequent and the amount of blatant, unable-to-believe mental stupidity of some forum users, (not gonna be so rude as to mention names but I think we all know at least a few users this applies to) has caused me to leave my generally happy quiet lurker status of F95.
It's so infuriating that no matter what thread you go to on this site you have to read through pages upon pages of senseless dribble, complaints and arguments. I really wish there was a magic way to control who can post, (like rollercoasters have a height requirement, drinking has an age requirement) Things would be so much easier if using a public forum (and not necessarily just a porn forum) was a forced requirement to pass an IQ test and an EQ test. Every forum thread would be 10x better off if there was a minimum requirement to partake. Obviously no way feasible to make this happen but a quiet, (quite fed up) lurker can always dream

Yes, it was deliberately made to amuse the non-NTR audience.
Because think about it! Currently Sterling doesn't think he can take on Hunter on his own, which is why he "gathers allies", which leads to situations where he fucks them. If Sterling had more of a brain and a spine, he'd try not to involve his family so not to put them in danger and take on Hunter, which means he doesn't get so close to his family and doesn't fuck them. Which means we still have the same NTR scenario's, BUT WITHOUT THE NON-NTR SEX!
The fact that Sterling IS so "weak" is the whole reason why it's a harem game. So yes, it's marketed to the non-NTR audience.

I think you're beginning to understand. Despite featuring a mystery, dark themes, and disturbing scenes, Power Vacuum is actually a COMEDY, and a SATIRE of other adult games. Everything you've said, while mostly true, would defeat the purpose of the story, which IS to entertain. The dev isn't being deceptive; that PV is a comedy is plain to anyone from the constant JOKES and ridiculous situations. If there is a TARGET audience, it's Americans in their 30s and 40s; 80% of the jokes wouldn't make much sense to most people outside that group.
Not at all what I said.
What I AM saying is that the complaint that Sterling doesn't make Hunter his first priority instead of his family would lead to less interaction with his family, and thus less sexy time. You can't have one and the other since that would be bad writing and a non-story.

You need to take this mods advice. Delete this game and don't download future updates if the NTR part of the game triggers you so much. All you ever do is complain about the NTR or thumbs up people who complain about NTR and thumbs down people who defend it.

this is just childish man, but I will engage none the less.
Sterling cant just kill Hunter, despite what we(the player/sterling) and Lucia know, the rest of the family are none the wiser. So Sterling just killing Hunter would not go over well, even if we proved to the family that he is a creep, not to mention Drews presence, if Sterling killed hunter and hid the body, Drew would immediately suspect Sterling because she knows that Sterling hates hunter.
