He's calling it last chance as if in earlier chapters patrons could say which direction the the story could go to
If there was anything like that earlier releases; then chapter 9-12 could've witnessed some decent changes, that's all, but yeah this method is good for the developer financially, as it'll get more patrons to increase their tier, or some patrons to re-sub.
And it'll be voting based too, so majority wins and responsibility cannot be shifted to one person.

Well, it's the end of the story, so the story will only go in one direction. Any amount of side stories won't change that. And it's called last chance since it's the last chapter. So, I'm not really getting what you're going at. Oh, wait, you think this will somehow impact how the story unfolds. Well, it doesn't, since people can only suggest pairings, not actual story lines.

Nah, was just saying that pairings will be decided by majority votes that's all and story will be made post that, keeping the pairings in mind, was just pointing out that if these options were not given then there would be no pairings to be begin and no story. So was just saying if this method was followed in previous chapters like 9-12 for which girl to get the lewd scene and story could be drafted thereafter, then those updates would've turned out better.
It's just that the game is ending and even the developer feels that there are too many characters and many pairings are possible, since they didn't have time to showcase that in earlier updates since scenes in the last 3 updates were rushed, now there only being one main update left, there's only so much a man can put in an update, so some characters won't get the justice and lewd scenes that they deserved.

That seems fair, but it surely wont last, as we've seen before with the what ifs, people will beg him to add Hunter to the repeatable characters list, and from then on a shitshow is inevitable, I dont think im gonna play this chapter.

For me, repeatable events are unnecessary, for example, Eva, after repeating her sex scene for the second time, I found it boring and I no longer repeated the scene. If someone wants to relive a scene that she liked (Brenna), they have the gallery, which I would like. They are the mysterious events that appeared and I always liked them, right?

The problems you described were typical of a missing patch. Check if you installed it correctly and in the current version you are now trying to play.
I did exactly what the instructions said. I have chapter 12 and copied all of the files out of the patch "game" folder and pasted them into the actual game's "game" folder.

Taking into account that some files are in sub-folders which should go into the same respective sub-folders of the game ?

I can't see your set-up, so I can't tell.
In my case, some images ended up in a wrong sub-folder which led to scenes with black screens.
I just attempted to open the old game, my saves somehow got removed. I went into the folder in Roaming and all my saves are gone. I guess I'll have to go hunting through the comments for a chapter 11 save. Everyone's saying there's one somewhere, now to just find it.
