The vanilla scenes & story progression with Ophelia + thread enthusiasm + patreon polls say a different story altogether. It's vanilla canon story sure the OP says so too, but it has taken a backseat in these past updates. Also I don't know whether it was a honest mistake or something but you didn't quote the whole sentence which I wrote before the vanilla fans still being subbed to him.. just quoting it here 'saying something about NTR will upset people, because more of the patreon base for this game is NTR'

2 out of the 3 Last Chance Poll winners have been vanilla, no one has even suggested Hunter content. People have been enthused about threesome content with the main girls. The story progression is headed towards MC getting a complete harem ending.
I don't see how Vanilla has taken a "back seat" when the large majority of the content in every update includes MC.
The focus of the discord server is mostly people begging for Hunter to top Sterling. Everyone felt cheated by the Starling twist.

Polls I meant from the beginning till date, including what-ifs and wallpapers. The developer has a financial motivation to make NTR content, because there are more NTR suggestions and discussions than vanilla in here, patreon and discord [I know about discord talks since I was a member] and people are willing to pay more to view that genre which is not wrong because why not support the creator which makes content that you like, it's their money.
I have made earlier comments about this and story progression regarding vanilla with the main cast progression with Sterling and Ophelia, Brenna and Catherine...
when you comment like this it certainly seems that we're playing a different game when you're saying that scenes where Sterling is the majority content holder like the Olympic event which Catherine held with Brenna and Sterling, where those 2 went all out, where he was there as a placeholder.
I don't want to quote those posts again which I made during chapter 10,11 and 12 and start something. So I will just leave it at that.

I disagree, The compromise regarding Ophelia solo content post initial climax was expected, and that has to be a criticism by itself, a big part of the "delayed gratification" process will lead to compromise regarding following events, assuming development time is finite and has an end goal and you still want to wrap everything up.I have given up, it's no point arguing here.

I may make some fan-made renders/animations for Ophelia/Sterling in the future because clearly the story with them between chapter 11 and 12 is rushed and does no justice to the vanilla crowd, there are bad ends with Ophelia and other characters but for vanilla it's just rushed 3somes.
This phenomenon is present in 99.9% of games that share the same themes as PV most of those dont have ntr mechanics involved, this has nothing to do with the bad endings, and it shouldnt be mashed together because it takes the focus away from criticism regarding execution and planning throughout development.
Now the dev passes the burden of choice to the supporting audience, almost like a referendum, while almost explicitly stating
"psst, guys....you can get as much OpheliaMC as you want" if they/we demand compensation for the lack of content than now is the time to vote for it.
If not, well that sucks, I want more Ophelia, but...after all, its just fiction, cheers

The world of Power Vacuum technically runs on "House Game" Rules as fundamental aspects of reality or some shit, that's how I decide to see it. What If 8 ending with an interconnected shared universe with other popular house games does seem to lend credence to this theory if you ask me.

I did see someone bring this up before and I think it's not a bad idea. We'll have to see what dev has planned with the epilogue, but after this chapter, he could add small repeated animated scenes you see by visiting characters at various points in the house. Example, at night when Sterling goes to Ophelia's room, instead of her saying "not tonight" we could be given various sex positions to choose from or just one position but various angles. Doing this would allow additional one on one scenes (group potential too, girls at breakfast or book club) and would allow a potential sex position we haven't seen yet. Like the dream scenes, I'd say dialogue wouldn't be required. Could even be something to vote on, which position we'd like to see.
Sterling is more a Dio Del Sesso than David in my opinion cuz, Sterling basically did what Drew and hunter was doing at the beginning, use love and affection to get the girls. Also he got all the girls and even had sex with the Nurse and all of Amber family without even trying and let’s not forget getting Catherine pregnant.
Exactly - it would be a great way to pad out the game after the main plotline finishes. Update the game with extra scenes viewable in different rooms of the house / locations. Extra content not requiring major dialogue, just animation etc. Sex with Brenna in the gym, sex with Ophelia in the kitchen, etc. etc. As you say fans can decide on what to animate first.

You see it as different given your obsession with wanting more involving Ophlelia and Sterling than we've currently gotten as far as full-on sexual activity goes, but that doesn't say otherwise at all.
The game itself "says so" by virtue of the netorare content all being literal Bad Ends... The game has netorare content as being something to be avoided in order to progress through the story.
It's borderline anti-cucking in that respect.
Also, stop confusing "vanilla" and not being focused on the protagonist getting cucked. Your distaste for cuck content does not equate to non-cucking being vanilla.
There's very little actual vanilla content in this game.

David is definitely more a Dio Del Sesso than Sterling. Sterling only got where he got because of Hunter. Without the drugs Sterling wouldn't have the girls or even his physique.

Totally agreed on Catherine being the most obnoxious. It's the first time out of any adult media in which I find a character personality just impossible to fap to, despite pretty much everything else in this game being great.
