You are essentially correct. While the threat of Hunter is present in the canonical narrative, if you play with NTR off (I do too) then Hunter is more comic relief than vile villain.

Unfortunately, you and I seem to want different things. Perhaps it begs the question as to whether the dev has divergent audience demands from the NTR and non-NTR crowds.
Have you seen how wild this thread gets with that exact battle of demands?

If you don't want to see NTR you can turn it off and the dev can please us both; up to now it has always found the right balance. I found only the latest update disappointing.

I thought it was interesting that I (non-NTR) wanted more intimate relationships and emotional build-up, while the replying poster (NTR) wanted the opposite. This thread and the dev have established that the NTR content/bad endings don't burden development, but if these audiences want different narrative directions, then it might become increasingly difficult to please both crowds as the story advances.

would you perhaps mean that the NTR side was lacking? that's generally what i've been seeing.
i'm just curious if there was some one for the NTR side that was satisfied with this update in that regard.

i don't really want to change what WWG has been done. that's not to say i haven't thrown suggestions at him, even knowing that they probably won't be entertained. i gotta get the idea's of my chest anyways lol. im getting besides the point.
i hope he too continues doing the game as he has been going. it was just this update that felt like the NTR lacked in terms of quality. i don't blame him, he's been giving it his all for 8 updates now. 1 weak part of an overall update won't change my opinion on how the well the overall game and update is.

i think coming right after the Breana NTR scene which was super hot from a porn standpoint the NTR scenes were a bit lacking, again from a porn standpoint.
Narratively, however, they were right on.
For example it would have been awesome from a porn standpoint to see the beginning of the Lucia scene but narratively it was timed perfectly, everyone barges in at once just as Lucia planned, and is shocked, including Hunter. It fits perfectly into the story.
For me personally I'm completely fine with concessions to the narrative, tone and humor that sacrifice a bit of the porniness because those things are done so well and such an important part of my enjoyment of the game.

Brenna secretly being a virgin could actually work unless I've forgotten something, you've sold me on the first half of your second point.
I'll pass on the plethora of group action though, at a certain point it just gets silly, gross, and loses its magic.

I think it's worth remembering that this is not really a game trying to please an NTR audience (imo). The NTR is and always has been considered bad, and a punishment for failure (it's literally a game over), not a reward. At least that's how I see it. So I see no reason why the developer should feel as if he has to cater to the NTR audience more, as his game was never made for them in the first place.

Thats just opinion and eye of the beholder. For some of us, the bad end is a reward in and of itself. it's a small portion of a big update we look forward too. it depends on what side you stand on, that determines how you will receive it.
yes, considered bad story wise, but not bad to see and again, punishment for the characters involved mostly, not the readers. how can it be punishment if the one's who aren't gonna play with it on, aren't gonna see it lol. that's already a contradiction.
yeah, you're not gonna see a reason if your standing on the no-NTR side.
I beg to differ the "clear the NTR was never made for them". he has always had NTR, since the very first chapter. chapter 1 even had 3 bad ends to show that all the girls can end up Hunters. after that, every update has had 2 bad ends. which i actually made a break down of every bad end possible a few pages back. (i tried looking for it, but a mod must have deleted it)
so to say the Dev's game was never made for the NTR side, is a complete lie and blinding of yourself.
I can say, that the NTR side was never going to out proportion the main content though, that I can admit.

I don't know the NTR is done really well and the scenes by and large are pretty hot. I don't think that would be the case if he wasn't trying to please the NTR fans.
They also wouldn't be funny as hell if they were supposed to be "punishment"
Hes called Hunter a Villian MANY times so them winning would for SURE be a punishment

The NTR scenes are there to be funny and sexy for people who like that stuff and/or want to be entertained
