No one compares them to DaVinci or Van Gogh (except for you). Modern days have dedicated hours for everything, from work to recreation. Van Gogh and DaVinci worked whenever they could, and yes, those had to be in a perfect state of mind to work. WWG doesn't. He can write down ideas in his "off time", but as far as renders go, maybe he works from dusk till dawn, maybe he starts up Daz when he has fifteen minutes to spare. Who knows? I don't know the guy.
Also, you can't use the argument that the What Ifs are the exact same stuff as in the game as that's not his fault, but the fault of his patrons. He said at the start they could go as wild as they wanted. It's on them they chose "safe" options and decided to stick to the game.

As we enter the long awaited homestretch, I'd like to share that chapter nine is shaping up to be the biggest update so far. In animations alone, it's looking to have almost twice as many as chapter eight. There are big events, radical changes in relationships, and a lot of long requested moments.
My hard goal is to have the update out for the $10 tier by October 31st. That means the beta build for the $20 tier will be out by at least the 29th.
