I'm interested to see how long this tactic will work for Hunter. Will Brenna & Sterling's "entrepreneurial" endeavors be successful enough to allow them to take over paying the mortgage? If so, can they do it without having to explain to Ophelia where their money is coming from? Perhaps they will lie about it, and threatening to tell Ophelia the truth will be Hunter's new form of leverage in order to continue his pursuits?
Or will Drew replace Hunter as the source of conflict? What will force Sterling to tolerate Drew's presence? Will the other women protect Drew from what they think is unfair treatment by Sterling?
I hope this story continues for a while, so we can see more evolution to the relationships and every possible combination of sexual encounters. Tension and conflict keeps it interesting. I'm also hoping for a mind-blowing ending with Sterling and all the ladies in ultimate carnal bliss, but let's not get there too quickly!
Yes, you missed the part where Hunter is paying the entire mortgage. At any moment Hunter can put them on the streets. MC is in a bind, not because he doesn't feel like doing anything.
oh come on being homeless isnt the end of the world millions of people are homeless, sure it might not be the best thing either but youre not gonna drop dead on the spot. and they have enough support to crash at peoples places for a short time to find alternatives. for example mc and brenna probably have enough money for a down payment and a bit of rent for an apartment. it is a very very tiny issue compared to having all of your familiy members drugged and raped. the logic is lost on me.
Your argument is valid, except that you're looking for logic in an incest harem sex comedy game. Suspension of disbelief is usually required in order to enjoy something like this.

i mean i see where youre coming from and all but the comedic value and my enjoyment would skyrocket if i could watch mc beat hunter into a bloody puddle and then take a shit on the remains.

Well, it's a few things, right?
First and foremost, it's a porn game. It actually satirizes that a few times as well which is lovely.
But more seriously, being homeless can be a serious threat.
Consider first of all that it seems to be a rather nice, rather lavish house, and although we don't know the exact floor plan (as far as I'm aware) even with relatively decent money, it doesn't seem like it's a price easily paid.
Also, being homeless is a pretty serious problem and shouldn't be looked down upon. It's really not something you wanna do if you can avoid it, and so far MC has been able to avoid is considering all NTR events have all been bad ends and so, are non-cannon.
Also though, consider Hunter. He's been a master at playing the nice old and, above all, innocent guy, only ever getting caught in the alternate bad ends which, again, aren't cannon.
Imagine how it'd go if MC tried to move the entire family, and friends, all to some affordable small house.
The family would at the very least seriously question WHY he's doing that, and then he'd tell them about Hunter's plans which all sound very convoluted and fantastical.
All the while Hunter's looking idly by with his most innocent old guy eyes, ready to explain to everyone how MC's just lost his mind and of course they can continue their life without any drastic changes.
Considering what a master of deceit Hunter seems to be to everyone but MC, he'd easily succeed, and that would be game-over in the face of Hunter's efforts.
Come to think of it, that would actually make a nice What If?, where MC tries to make the family all leave the house and flee Hunter, but Hunter plays it innocent and MC looks like a fool, wrecking MC's credibility and making it all fair game for Hunter.
Only problem would probably be that it'd be too close to Ch.9's NTR ending, albeit through a different path.
Not to mention that in the beginning, the MC has no idea how Hunter operates. He assumes he's just a horny old man. By the time the MC realizes the threat Hunter poses, Hunter has hours of footage that would ruin everyone's life if he decided to go scorched Earth. So, they wouldn't just be homeless, they'd have to assume entirely new lives.
I spell this out in the next chapter since they'll be going over finances but I always assumed people would understand the innate logic of why Brenna can't just give Ophelia her OnlyFans money. Ophelia isn't stupid. If Brenna tried to give Ophelia thousands of dollars a month, she'd ask how a person who never had a job can afford this. She'd want to see bank statements. Not just as a liability concern but to make sure Brenna isn't doing anything illegal.
so its at the same time too much logic and too little logic. its making my head hurt. whatever is just saw hunters eye pop out of its socket so my bloodthirst is satiated for a while.

I'll be looking forward to seeing how that'll play out.
All in all it's a lot more complicated than it'd seem on first glance.
Of course I too do have that internal voice going "just leave, it's not worth it", but that'd be way too easy, and Hunter would never just let them go I feel like.
That's also why I particularly like that little idea I just put out on a What If? where they try exactly that and flee Hunter, but it all going to sh*t and leading to Hunter having his way because it basically puts that little voice in its place and reminds the player that it really isn't that simple and that it actually is a pretty serious situation they're in.
so its at the same time too much logic and too little logic. its making my head hurt. whatever is just saw hunters eye pop out of its socket so my bloodthirst is satiated for a while.
Sure, but, consider that murdering someone and getting away with it are two different things entirely.
We know that Hunter doesn't like to leave a trail and if I remember correctly how he put it he "legally doesn't even exist", that doesn't mean no one knows him, and an old guy going missing without a body found is still incredibly suspicious, both to the authorities but also the Ophelia who'd probably want to go to the funeral. Is Hunter really the type to go out hiking? That'd be so cliché and Ophelia would file a missing person's report before the end of the day and that'd be it for MC.
Maybe you could think MC gets all the evidence he needs on Hunter in time? But then you'd still get all kinds of trouble as it'd still be murder, and it wouldn't be direct self defense either.
Ophelia would probably prefer going to the authorities any time over actually committing murder.
