To try and explain it...
Hunter has been drugging their food, drinks and hygine products from the very first day he turned up. Last chapter it is revealed he is "drugging" the very air they breathe. In I think almost all the scenes in this chapter we see a shot from inside the vents and sometimes a hissing noise, indicating something being released. Immediately after, the characters in the room where the scene takes place experiences a rise in horniness and a drop in restraint. It happens in the scene between Cath and Brenna. Now, if I am remembering things right, there hasn't really been that much information given to the MC around his father's death or even if the other members of the family saw his body or were there when he died. If I didn't forget about some dialogue that confirms that the father is indeed dead, there is a high possibility that as the final payback to the father for taking his sister and mother away from Hunter and Drew, Hunter forced the father to go through the same transformation that Drew went through (without the D*ck) and is now just a corrupted plaything for Hunter and Drew. Which could come in to help Hunter in the future.

The "what if's" are all standalone, and they are not canon. So you can skip em or play them it's up to you.
