Its in character with Hunter sure, but like it or not, YOU made the chink joke. Thats something you decided to write into your game. So whether its right or wrong, you cant justify it by simply saying, "Its not me its my character". Also, dudes allowed to be bummed if your last few chapters have a more rapey vibe, again, whether its justified in the story or not. I personally like the corruption but thats just me. Its ridiculous to keep coming in here just to put people down when they have an opinion you dont agree with. If hes incorrect about your game or how to play it thats one thing. But if you actually did make a racial joke and he took offense to it, he has every right. Dude could be asian for all you know...
First of all, I truly appreciate that you've taken the time to read and respond here. I was motivated to post mostly as a mini-rant and I bothered at all because I've enjoyed and laughed at this game so much and gotten so engaged with it. I hadn't even know the devs were active here and never imagined it might be seen.
I'd pretended to myself that it was possible to play this game as if there wasn't non-consensual sex in it, which worked great for eight chapters and I kinda fell in love with the game I thought I saw. After characters effectively got mind-controlled into being rapists and rape victims over and over again, my self-delusions were shattered, I got annoyed at the game instead of myself, and lashed out here.
When a serial rapist appears on the mantelpiece in act 1, one should not be surprised when there are serial rapes in act 3, even though the rest of the play was a hilarious cross between incest porn and every sitcom that ever had a dad joke in it. No amount of gesticulation about the lack of a rape tag on the playbill, the superb quality and quantity of the jokes, or the loss of agency in the third act can change that.

Thanks for the support (comment OP here) but I wasn't put down in any way by the dev's response. The discussion (in my chain at least; I haven't read prior posts) is entirely civil and I think the dev should be applauded and encouraged for being here, not attacked for it.
With that logic, Quinten Tarantino is a hood-wearing racist for writing Django Unchained, since he's the one who wrote all the racist dialogue the slave owners use.

Because if we're gonna start conflating every author's works (especially works of fiction) with the author's morality, then we might as well start judging and punishing people for having thoughts.

Tbh the worst part about the game is the hypocrisy.
Uh no. First off, NTR haters screech about anything. Besides, NTR consistently dominates the prelim suggestion voting. Vanilla has never stood a chance in wallpaper or what-ifs. Futa on the other hand still makes it to final polls besides not even getting half the votes of the top suggestions and then it goes on to win the poll. At least NTR ideas are interesting because people put effort into setting up creative scenarios (e.g. The trip to Africa) or they just want to extend a bad ending from the main VN. Futa suggestions are always just "What if this girl had a dick or that girl had a dick or all the girls had dicks?" The problem is not Futa winning at all but Futa ideas being low effort/boring and still somehow winning.
The simple answer is that there are a lot more people that just want to see all the girls have dicks than there are people who want to see the other ideas. However, given that the other ideas tend to garner at least a third of the votes individually and more than half when combined, I'd say more people would rather not see Futa but the non-futa votes get split which allows Futa to win the polls.

Dude. I'm not some rando complaining about random shit on F95. I'm subbed to his highest patreon tier and I have noticed a pattern I do not like. As a paying customer I can point it out and say I do not like it. I was also explaining the difference between random NTR haters screeching and why people are not thrilled about Futa winning. I like Futa too. The world is not black and white. Not shitting on or laughing at people who don't like futa doesn't mean I'm a rabid futa hater who is butthurt.
Try harder.

That's literally all I've been seeing lately.
People need to learn to accept the opinions of others.
Everyone has the right to their opinion.
There will always be things that someone won't like, but someone else will.
Game Devs may or may not take your suggestions and criticism into account, but at the end of the day, it's the Dev's project and they can add what they want to it, so either support the project or don't.
There's no need to get into a silly argument because of it.
Anyway... I'm looking forward to the next What If? and the next chapter

I was explaining the difference between NTR haters dunking on the game and dev and some people feeling frustrated at futa winning side content polls. I was only referring to the what ifs or more specifically, something that won that they didn't like, not the whole game.
