the game specifically says it isn't "The main game contains avoidable, non-canonical NTR content", I don't know how people can read it differently.

it is a fun novel, and I hope you will continue to enjoy it.
Yeah but if you play the game it still has themes of competition and a looming spectre of potential betrayal like with Lucia in the cabin. So the MC isn't literally cucked in any canonical content, but it might still rub people the wrong way who don't like NTR because they don't want those themes in the game period.

I mean personally, while some people were mad at Femdom Ophelia, I was actually mad prior to that with the way Ophelia basically makes the MC walk on eggshells but then gets Catherine to help her with lactation when we all know how bad Catherine is with boundaries.

I actually appreciate in chapter 10 when Ophelia realizes that after being pounced on by Brenna, that maybe she could have been more lenient with MC. Of course what he did to her was bad. But it was just annoying seeing her basically make him walk on eggshells in a way others didn't have to.

Personally, it feels like the same kind of betrayal as NTR to have a woman make you jump through hoops and gaslight you into thinking you're a creep wanting to do a given sex act that she then begs another guy to do. Hence why in many NTR stories, to twist the knife they don't just have the woman say she loves the rival, they also have her say she's doing a thing with him that she'd never let her husband do (anal is the typical example but not always).

And I'm not even against an NTR game. I'm fine with it as long as I can see myself as the bull not the cuck.

So when you say "I don't know how people can read it differently." People are worried, that the game will be written in a way that the canon segments will still be tainted by the themes of betrayal and competition that make the NTR in the non-canon even an option.

And before you assume I'm some hater, I've been supporting the dev on patreon for several months by now, even while he has postponed the update.

I can empathize with players who want to avoid even the slightest hint of NTR, although that should be easy for them to do so based on the tag. It's more challenging for the players who can tolerate a little NTR, because just seeing the tag doesn't tell them whether the content is at a level they're comfortable with.

The pattern of argument and reconciliation in this game is crucial in driving the plot. We're meant to be frustrated by the unfair treatment, so that the eventual validation (and make-up sex) is all the sweeter. If the women offered no resistance they'd seem like one-dimensional characters and the story would be a lot less interesting.

Very well put.

Naturally. But not all argument makes for a good story. And execution matters.

Which is why I'm very happy with the chapter 10 part where Ophelia actually has a moment where she apologizes for that part she got wrong. That way the make up sex isn't just a way to get out of accountability, it's a cherry on top. Same way that when Lucia threatened the MC in the cabin, the MC didn't let that slide.

Lesser writers would have not handled it as well as WWG. So I'm actually excited to see what he has in store. It's not often I trust a writer to have satisfying resolutions but so far WWG is doing a great job. Not every decision he makes is perfect for me but he hits some home runs that are stellar.

I think i can explains that. Ophelia is more cautious with MC she fears that with him one thing lead to other and more. And she fears that Sterling do these things on purpose to made it lead to other on purpose.
Catherine may be bad with boundaries but she is a child at heart (no matter how creepy that sounds) and Ophelia was not afraid things to get complicated. Well, untill Catherine start to play lesbian and then Brenna starts to make her moves. And now she is confused.

I disagree with your argument about the competition might seem like a potential NTR, but I agree that WWG is doing a great job on the resolutions, it's funny how some developers don't know how to handle some situations and create even more problems, like DrPinkCake and his obsession with drama lol, at the end of the day it's a porn game and most people who play these games don't care about the story as long as they see some cool renderings.

Well. Right answer - we don't know.
Personally i don't think so, too much headache for dev. Hmm. Then again. If someone request it for what if and it win the vote for some reason...
But i predict Drew will fuck Hunter by accident.
Male on futa would be way less headache then futa on male lol, maybe you will be able to fuck Drew in the future but leads to a bad ending but who knows.

Too grindy q at chap 6
The word "grind" means that you need to get something to progress. Money or point of influence. There is grind in first chapters, some choices are blocked (red) untill you get points on other events. But those choices are not so many. Although
Maybe i am wrong but i am pretty sure that there is no such choices in chapter 5 and so on.
After that you are just watching events. Some of them blocked untill you get other events. But thats just interactive kinetic novel at this point.
Maybe you don't use skip button and hourglass?

Not really. The term's synonimous in gaming with having to do repetitive tasks in order to advance, regardless of the end result of the grinding being money/points/character influence.
In this case, the "money" is just story and sex progression.

Too grindy q at chap 6
If you think this game's "too grindy", let alone grindy at all, then you should probably just stick to Kinetic Novels.

Confused as hell and about to give up.
1st) What is NTR in this game specifically? How does it affect game play?
2nd) im on Chapter 3 and bored out of my mind. When does something happen?
3rd) MC seems like a complete idiot being built up but man is it slooooow.

I think I'm going to try to hang in their until Ch.4 at least but a slow burn I can deal with an absolute glacial pace atm.

Groundhog day the movie seemed like it would be fun this game however makes me re think that.
