You just gave a perfect reason why he'd intentionally delay in your own graph, while saying it makes no sense. After the last chapter he had the largest and longest duration decline in earnings he's ever had, if we ignore the release week spikes. His earnings dipped to the lowest they had been in 3 years, if he is anticipating another decline (or an even bigger one with this being the final chapter) that is plenty of incentive to hold the release date. On top of that when developing a new game his first cycle time will likely grow even longer, needing to develop all new assets and a brand new story; which will likely lose more earnings. As well as losing players who were just dedicated to PV or NTR fans who would leave if his next project does end up being vanilla like he's suggested. There is plenty of monetary reason for him to want to extend this release and the release of the epilogues.WWG made much more money when he had frequent shorter updates and what ifs. Once this update is released he'll be releasing epilogues every few weeks. The delay also caused a decrease in subs/money.
It makes no sense for him to sit on the update for months. Once the update drops it will likely have 1.5x the amount of content as last due to last chance. It'll be easy to check like every other update by seeing the amount of renders and animations in the new folders.
I think it's completely fine to criticize WWG for lack of communication and a last minute massive delay but saying he did it intentionally to profit makes no sense. He offered refunds for the month which a lot of people accepted.
Edit: You can look at a chart of his patreon earnings here. Post last chapter release in January 2024 it dropped to 2021 levels

Add to it his odd, vague, and inconsistent communication it is 100% a plausible scenario.
The communication went from "I'm working on this non-stop, were at 95%"
to
"Actually, I wasn't working on it non-stop like I said before because of personal issues, so it will take 2+ more months"
I know a lot of you excuse the delays/communication as "he's just the worst of all time at predicting timelines" when it seems to me he's just flat out dishonest. Think whatever you want, I know my opinion. Just don't be shocked when his epilogues take way longer than he said previously, and he eventually announces he's no longer moving forward with his next game.
Time will tell who's right, I hope you are because he does make a good product, my personal opinion of WWG himself aside.
