I hear what you're saying, but it may be false equivalency to call that a "cycle" here. This game features content some do not like and they never stop complaining, that's the cycle.
While I'm personally hoping for the story to have a happy ending, I'd be kind of impressed if it actually didn't. It would be a bold move and subvert expectations, as they say.

I think every "discussion" on the internet is a part of a cycle even if they know it or not. Especially one that's been going on this long about a hardlined topic like this
Imo an ending like that that would do more damage than good. Expectation subversions aren't very good for large and established fanbases. And would bring out more complaining and I feel like if there's one less thing the internet needs it would be more complaining/arguing.
That's all I'll say. I don't want to become one of the people who give paragraph long comments in the thread of a porn game and I'm not really invested in the conversation anymore. I only had a problem with the "do something that purposely makes a large group of people angry" part of the original comment. I absolutely despise that sort of mindset.
Why does the first chapter at least not match the quality of the images shown here? Is it just the early chapters that have worse graphics/resolution and does it get better in the later ones?

Again I'm personally hoping we get a happy ending, and a canon bad ending may actually upset some of the dev's supporters (if they were expecting a happy ending). If they were to withdraw their support, that would be measurable "damage". That said, I think any controversy would be irrelevant if it didn't impact the dev's income.
This game has been going for several years. During that time, the dev has gotten more skilled and presumably invested in better hardware. The first couple of chapters look a little rougher but I think they still hold up well enough.

it gets better as the game goes on. The dev vastly improves every chapter.

What Ifs and NTR endings are also considered NON CANON.
They are what could have happened. Not what did happen.
Ophelia's Date Night was just another What If-type scenario, just by a different author.
These past couple updates have been great. Excited for this next one and future ones. It looks like Hunter is gonna have threesome with Ophelia and Brenna for one of the bad ends. I'm hoping Sterling does too, but I can see dev saving that for the next one.

they've all been shared. There hasn't been any new teasers since the 1st of the month and probably won't be anymore since WWG says anymore teasers at this point would be spoilers. Though he said that specifically about Hunter scenes, but i'm sure it applies to everything at this point.
