Yo, sorry if I don't answer some question, but I've muted a bunch of people and just now that DustyX has quoted (thanks for that, I guess...) I see that there was a trolling rant going on and I will not be bothered to read it.

I've already said and transcribed here all that you need to know regarding development, all the latest progression updates are free on Patreon for anyone to see, refer to those if you have doubts or ping me with meaningful questions if you can't find answers and can't be bothered to join Discord.

TLDR: he hopes to launch the Steam page by the end of the year, release a mostly SFW version for the large distribution and have all porn nested into a mod to avoid bullshit and bans from platforms, nothing has changed from that.

I've read a few of his responses to the comments on the recent Patreon post. I don't know if he has his terminology right or not. The NSFW content won't be a mod but 'a DLC'. Are we paying for the NSFW part now? I can't imagine anybody so concerned with if their game will sell well or not on Steam is completely unaware of the implications of calling something a 'DLC' and not a 'mod'. DLC usually implies a cost. Mod does not.
I mean, 'Just look at Skyrim and Fallout,' people make NSFW mods not NSFW DLCs.
I don't want to dogpile him if he's just using the incorrect terminology, but it's confusing as shit and lends credence to the 'bait and switch' and 'scam' accusations.

Are we supposed to feel bad for him now? If anything people were more than lenient towards the guy that canceled two games already and he's barely delivered on the third. People here were more than fair towards him, he's just acting like a child because people aren't kissing his feet and they're rightfully questioning what's happening to the game.

As soon as I saw him say that he was focusing on the non-adult aspects first (which was not what he promised when he quit the side scroller game). I stopped my support. Just sad how many game devs act like this when people are fed up with their game choices. When you promise your supporters one thing and change it entirely, People will get upset rightfully so. The guy had potential. Just so sad to see this game go down the tubes because of this.

Yes, he is throwing a tantrum because people here are legitimately complaining about how he used bait and switch to get money from us in patreon and then giving us a middle finger, possibly he closed the patreon due the risk of enough people reporting the bait and switch.

Yes and no, it's nothing new that Matto is impulsive regarding decisions about communication, he himself admitted that he's not very good at community managing more than once, I try to act as a filter and slow him down when I can, but I'm not a nanny.

I would have posted extensively everywhere regarding the impending pausing/unlisting of Patreon, he decided not to.
Was stopping Patreon a good move before moving to Steam? Arguably yes. Was it done properly? IMO, arguably no.

One can't be good at everything, he's a very talented and dedicated developer, that's what it matters to me and to 99% of his supporters, but for those who are a bit outside his mainstream community channel (Discord rn, Steam in the future) he might come of as confusing or directionless, that's not the case.
