Hah...to think i called this whole thing happening in one of my earliest posts, when i said that you had to keep in mind your target audience and all that bs i said back then. Good think i didn't actually pay for anything i was considering it a few months ago, then i realized there's no new fking content.

Love the game, can't wait to see where it goes, do take your time.
There are plenty of people that just don't have any patience, no one said you need to support all the time to be able to follow along.
I had been pleased with the public posts and the progress being made, having a good base to build upon is a pretty good idea, claiming to be able to do something like this within weeks, is disingenuous at best.

I, as a previous supporter have sadly have missed the window to claim a steam key, as it just flew by me and didn't pay enough attention.
I hope to be able to follow along more in the future now with the Patreon disabled and the Twitter seemingly unused until now.

Happy new year to all of you, go and make it a great year!

Matto is into drawing right ?

I would make art pieces that would take 400 hours to complete. Drawings/portraits.

But this, this - have nothing to do with patience, since there is,
no progress.

Or progress, if there is, then, in what ?

UIs ? A.... New four wheeler ? A... Map that takes 2 days to make... ? A... ,, I did this and that and that '' ? A... Sketches that takes few mins... ?

Do not confuse patience with... Whatever.

My boy Alket was talking not just about - 20 mins of walk.
No no no no no ....

He and Matto had in mind 20, - % of the earth's size. A.k.a 1/5 of our world.
You see for the past 5~ years, boyz could not finish few square kilometers, but THIS TIME, this time we have to go reeeeally big.

On a serious note, this shows one of the two :

#1 - the devs are delusional
or
#2 - the devs are intentionally lying
I'm very sure it's #2.

So... was Patreon deleted? I had high hopes for the project until last year's November...
The dev has ended the crowdfunding and is moving to Steam, the Steam page will be available as soon as enough assets are ready to create an acceptable showcase. He's running a bit late tho, he hoped to have everything ready by the first of January but didn't make it, more details on Discord: 1736929110515.png .

The is ready, needs a bit more texturing but is almost done and the has already been worked on extensively and it's a matter of polishing a bit, what's holding back are interior props and models...

is anyone else unable to holster weapons? txt says hold F but that's work. it only switches between the pistol and melee

That was a known issue in the previous version, keybinding were a bit wonky, it has since been fixed.

Theres has been a lot of talk about scope, it is confusing to track and tbh I lost track entirely.

Could someone enlighten me as to what the scope of the game actually is at this point. Specifically the following points:

What features will actually be in the game?
How big is the game world actually intended to be?
What game modes will be in it?
When and how will H content be implemented?
How much of that will actually make it into EA, how much is slated for the Full Release and what parts of it are planned as DLC?

This is an extremely broad question that I'm not entirely sure how to answer...the game will be a third person, action adventure with role play elements, horror elements and survival elements; the game will feature multiple customizable characters, loadouts, weapons, skills and vehicles; the game will feature both mission and free exploration, following an overarching story regarding the state of the planet you're "stranded" on, with the ultimate goal of escaping said planet by acquiring a ship.
For anything more specific either look at the other point or try to narrow your question a bit more...


How big is the game world actually intended to be?
Matto has created a planetary generation to procedurally create a "moon sized" game world; in order not to have this large world implode the engine (UE4), the world will be subdivide in "tiles" that cannot be traversed seamlessly, but there will be a loading screen similar in concept to MGS3 Portable Ops: 1737131336829.png , putting all these tiles together will create the game world (think of Helldivers 2 and how the planets are made of various maps that are all distinct while maintaining consistency between them, but instead of having multiple planets you have just one with multiple biomes).
The same system is leveraged for the more complex interior areas and general Point Of Interest (POI) that will be available across the planet.

What game modes will be in it?
The main game mode will be called 'Persistent World', where each major area will feature its own gameplay elements, one of these will be 'Groundzeroes', a free-for-all combat zone where players will take the role of a PMC operator and will have to fight to stay alive while completing specific missions that could turn the game into an Extraction Shooter for one objective, for example. Players can take jobs/operations and each type of jobs/operations will feature different kind of gameplay
A story mode, called Scenarios, is also being discussed, that will feature multiple shorter scenarios with different stories, all part of the same narrative.

When and how will H content be implemented?
Once enough assets and mechanics have been completed to be able to call the game a game, Matto will give the green light to Gato (proper adult artist and partner in crime) and provide assets for the creation of an Adult Module (referred as Adult Mod), this mod will be integrated with the game and will add upon the existing systems, integrating at various level while being optional, to allow the game more mainstream visibility and avoid being banned in certain countries, since Steam is the target release platform.
tldr: when? no official eta/when ready.

How much of that will actually make it into EA, how much is slated for the Full Release and what parts of it are planned as DLC?

EA is EA, and will receive updates on the go, Scenarios will most likely NOT be a part of release, while the adult mod will be released sometimes between EA and release and maintained alongside it.

this clears things up. Wasn't aware this was going to have an EA phase based on the announcement back on the patreon. Thought he was going to hold off until 1.0.
Which given the desired scale, sounded pretty concerning as someone who had fun with the builds that came out.
That and having it split into zones that could add up in mileage makes way more sense than some big continuous zone as I had imagined based on prior demos. May as well be adding more maps over time that add up in scale, rather than swallowing it all at once.

Good to hear that we may be able to get our hands on the game sooner than later, and maybe even get the H-stuff at some point soon.
