At least someone is around with his paperwork account here on F95. And you know what!? That would be the only acceptable excuse for me meanwhile
There's a lot of less severe options, my guess is stress/depression, the way he's kept over promising and under delivering lately, cancelling vacations etc, most likely pressuring himself more than any patrons. You can keep it up for awhile but then you crack and it's a long journey to get back up, so again, late is a lot better than never. Also we're finally approaching the 'lewd' level of project sage when it was abandoned last time, maybe he's just not as much into that part, making it harder to find other motivations than guilt for continuing, further deepening the spiral of self loathing.That would be the only acceptable excuse for me meanwhile

I think that is one of the reasons why this release comes so slow, because the convergence of two version is about to happen. When there are a lot scenes you can use from previous version for the new update, you will have difficulties to choose which one to use. And it do take a lot of time to make reasonable routes to use most of the scenes before.
I personally become impatient as days going on. But I still believe in Paperwork. Maybe we should discuss about how you would use scenes in previous version in the new routes.

Let's hope he doesn't have a job. Because if it is too much, saying one single fucking word about his status, doing a regular job, where you have to be punctual, work five to six days per week serveral hours a day, would be so fuckin way beyond possible.

Before hand, this is not against you MQlson, it is a general statement regarding many dudes and many devs.
Sometimes I think a lot of you guys are so, so tolerant towards porn game devs, I am forced to call it naive already! Those devs have a private life with responsibilites, like, already mentioned, going to work to get food on their tables and pay the rent! Maybe they are in a relationship or even have children. This has to be handled day by day, and you guys tell me, it is too fuckin' hard to post a single fucking senctence in several weeks telling what's up while earning hundreds and hundreds of dollars!?!? You are kidding, aren't you?!
I am out of this thread, game and dev is dead for me.

The most recent post on Patreon (that I know of) was posted March 8th, which was almost 3 months ago.
It was a Development Update, and (as with his previous Dev Updates) he continues to edit the post so that we know how progress is going. These edits don't change the time stamp, so I'm not sure when the last update to that post was. Currently, it shows a lot of work done and a lot more work to do before the next release.
Over here on F95, Paperwork was "last seen" on Saturday. It certainly seems like he/she/they are still alive.
Personally, I'm happy to continue waiting, and continue supporting Paperwork on Patreon.

Hum, his post was never edited as far as I remember since march 8th. His last words were somewhere in the comments mid of march. So yeah, more than 2 months ago... As Longo said, more than 2 months without a single word, come on ! We have to accept that he's not working on the game and doesn't want to communicate anymore. It's sad news but that's life. The least he can do, this is just to tell it, especially for long time supporters. In my world, we call that being polite.

Some rumors say that the dev is dead or entered a depression spiral which could lead to some tragic consequences. Let's hope that all these rumors are fake.

I've been a Paperwork patreon for a long time now, but I'm giving it until the end of the month and then I'm out. Such a shame that all the good fem prot games end up abandoned

He hadn't said a word on Patreon for an extended length of time, he doesn't do posts a ton but he is usually answering comments and he hasn't done that in a while. I can't say he hasn't answered anything in his posts in the last couple of weeks because I'm no longer a Patreon, but by the number of his supporters dropping I'm going to assume that no he hasn't. Hope he's okay and at some point can get back at this title but I'm not willing to continue to support a silent account. If others do than more power to them, not knocking them or Paperwork.
