I think now it is fair to say that the game is abandoned. It is sad but somehow we all let it happen.
I loved this game so much that I started my Patreon account for it. As I have paid for few months on Patreon to support him, eventually I cancelled it because I think if I pay for a production, I derserve things like weekly briefs or at least monthly reports to know how my money encourages the progress. The reports don't have to be long, just few words are okay. But sometimes, we don't get even few words for weeks.
I know some fanboys will blablabla say something like dev is in his berserker mode, okay then, now we have the bErsErKeR abandoned the game.
IMO, dev not having weekly/monthly development diaries is ultimately a reflection of not caring about the players. We all wanted the reports.
Next time you make donations on Patreon, make sure it is someone who cares about the contributors and is willing to make dev diaries. You won't regret the money you spend on Patreon then.

Why is there a need to antagonise and demean the opinion of others, if some want to believe there is still hope to see the full game see the light of day, good for them, what do you care.
Just expose your point and leave the snide remarks elsewhere.

Mods please add abandoned tag. It will reduce futile discussions, and anyway it can always be revived if the developer shows up. Who knows, it might even urge him to share signs of life. Simple stuff, its not world politics, its a porn game that most get for free. Cmon.

I find it weird that the dev was last online today but they aren't saying anything but at least we know they are ok.

I'm starting to think he's had an accident or accidently deleted all his work and his back ups lol. But a few lines to say he's had to put the game on hold wouldn't hurt. Where did you see him online? On here?

Today @ patreon i wrote a pm @ paperwork, hoping to get a sign of life from him. I will stay with him till the end of june. Than i feel forced to pledge my money to a dev that is still developing. I must believe that he is still working with our Amy, because i don't want to loose her. When he may return later i will return to support him. Please come back, we need our Amy!

Maybe the release of Honey Select 2 has changed things. He was talking about switching to daz but the features in the new version of HS might be a game changer. Amy is hard to render outside of the pseudo anime style and still look like herself. Especially the eyes. Plus she's got that beautiful elongated figure, sorta like Faye Valentine, that looks good in anime style.

one of the main reasons for that was the availability of certain models, something you're not going to get with HS2, definitely not in the first months

I believe there will be more updates coming. Its just a matter of time (as of now).
I am pretty sure Paperwork has got his reasons.
And I m also pretty sure a lot of people (including me) wont think these reasons were fair, but that doesnt count really. Its his decision on wether to reply or not.

I cant think of anything reasonable to make a dev be there(and he is) but simply not say anything for months. Even if he was/is pissed because of something, a grown-up wouldnt/shouldnt act like that. At least not towards his patrons.
But here we are.

Or maybe he just lost all interest in developing. Its a hard job and it doesnt get easier with all the players demanding, begging and ranting.

I wish him well, whatever he does or decides. But I also think (some) people deserve to know whats going on at some point.

As I myself have decided not to check anymore. From checking daily to checking weekly, just to feel disappointed again... gets too much over time.

If you can log in, you can also leave your patrons a few words. Especially when they start going crazy because of you not sayn anything.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. And I doubt PW would appreciate to be ignored for months - no matter the reason.

I can understand all the negativity going around here- but considering the current "you-know-what" situation, maybe pw is in troubles? Keep the hope up people, positive thinking is the key.

I am not saying pw being silent for months is right, but perhaps he is in a bad situation and he is not just inclined to share at the moment you know?

I cant think of anything reasonable to make a dev be there(and he is) but simply not say anything for months and losing meanwhile over 110 patrons in the last six weeks.

Say?
But putting it like that I might think of one reason. A not so honorable reason at all.
One I d rather not link to Paperwork.

lets not be childish.
When you got time and energy enough to log in every few days, you ll also have enough to leave a simple message, if you want to.
Try to make up a story in which you are fit enough to constantly check the forum, but not able to leave a short message. ever.
please, go on.

No. This is a conscious decision. His reasons are unknown and they will remain unknown. And I cant think of anything reasonable to justify this kind of behavior. Not from the perspective of a grown-up.

but hey, despite his silence hes still making more than 700 bucks per month on patreon.
Thats quite some money for being mute.

Some might even say, it would be enough to justify a little message for those who contribute to that amount...

thats not about negativity. its about the least amount of decency.

It's actually pretty impressive he's still making as much money as he is, given it's about to be 4 months between updates and about 3 since the last communication.

It's really quite a shame considering this was one of my favorite games, and I'd supported it since the first version's first few updates a couple years ago.

I dunno why people would still support PW after this much nothing, but I guess it's their money to waste.
