So after months of nothing, then a "I'm back" message, again now for over seven weeks total radio silence. And I moron supported him again on patreon right after the "I'm back" message. Bloody stupid I am and naive. Dropping support on end of month again. I am not gifting money, I give money that an artist can do his thing which is obviously not the case since march. But I understand, all those desperated devs (because only porn devs are devasted by a death of a loved one, normal people still need to go to work for example) cannot pause the payments of the patrons. If there ever will be a new update I will play and enjoy it (for free of course), but no support for this dev anymore, not one cent.
Don´t say this. In few days he will inform us that his dog has broken his leg and we have to wait some weeks more. But in christmas week there are waiting good news.... I´ve canceled my patronship and wait for a update.

Same. And the fans on patreon are usually very hostile. I simply stated my reasoning for ending my patreon and wished the creator good luck. This was enough to cause some guy to have a breakdown.

I will wait what happens with Paperwork. Hope he can get back on track. Than maybe i will support him again.
I started to support "Naughty Lyanna", "The Corruption of Emma" and "Alenja's Adventures" after i retired from pledging to "Project Sage".

I dropped back to 1$ Tier. Still want to be informed about Amy.

As for a depression after a loss, it goes in stages, and there can be a back and forth. So I'm not complaining, I'm just hoping he is fine and Amy will receive the love she deserves - through an update.

in my mind, to come back after that long period, no matter the circumstances, is very difficult.
but its not impossible. I would not get hopes up, expect nothing, at least it will not feel bad when it will get a definitive abandonment and if it comes back, I will be positively surprised and happy.

I wanted the girl to be lean, Ponyguy. This is my first game but I've been lurking these forums for some time. Girls in games here are usually a bit "thick" for my taste. However, the game is for you. So if it is the general opinion about the girl, I may change the proportions in the future although I'm not willing to do it drastically :)

Since this is a "0.1", I'm open to all kinds of criticism. Please let me know what you think of it.
She is perfect as she is. Its refreshing to see a slim girl in adult games. Thank
you!!!

Pretty true, you got at best a week leaves and after that the show must go on.

Taking money from people for month and months for zero work under the pretext of grieving is scammy or "beggarly" at best. It's not surprising for me though, as most of the porn creator making a game about taking advantages and pleasure from "fooling" naive people for sex.

You know the fruit would not fall far away from the tree.

I don't understand the raging going on in here or the badmouthing. He went through something and everyone deals with things a different way. Just because work places give you a week to mourn a death doesn't mean this is enough time to get over it and be perfectly fine again. I understand people may be upset if they feel they are supporting and getting nothing in return. But you aren't under an obligation. If you don't feel like your patreon support is worth it then don't support him. If you enjoy the game and want to support then do so. But all this shit talking and rage is stupid and not productive. You don't know his mental state or how he's dealing with things. And I doubt all the negative comment give him inspiration or motivation to keep working on the game. In fact they would have the complete opposite effect.

If you enjoy the game, be patient. If you don't enjoy the game, why are you here?

We are not sending author negative hate comments. We are commenting on random porn forum. There is difference between that.
Also its very (naive) nice that you think, that your positive energy comment will change author's mind and he will suddenly start working. Rest of us knows, that almost 9 months without any work are very suspicious. We have seen similar excuses so many times. (eg.: 4 months break because grandpa died, or 2nd grandpa died, or dog died, or 1st grandpa died again)

Mental state is obviously good/bad enough to collect money for seven months without giving something back. There is a pause function on patreon for those who don't know or at least switch to payment only on update release.
And to make it clear, I do not claim that I tell anyone how long to mourn about a loved one etc. It's the behaviour towards his patrons supporting him for years! That's what I critisize.
And to think you cannot do some simple clicks to stop charging them because you mourn is naive to the max. Not to forget he's on his computer (last seen timestamp), this would be a quite simpler task than brushing your teeth in the evening for example.

the more pressing issue is that he has an inability to communicate what's going on. that is project management 101 or even workplace 101 to keep people informed.

once a week, once a month, once every 2 months - a quick blurb to say, "hey guys, I'm doing okay, and working on the game very slowly - but here's some preview pics in the meantime. As for progress, it's about 45% of the way there", or "hey guys I'm doing okay, but haven't touched the game in 9 months so sorry about that - not sure when I can get back to it, so i'm pausing my Patreon until I am mentally ready to continue" isn't much to ask for people supporting.
