given the size of the update plus accounting for all the many choices, beta testing might be taking longer because of that.

i’m still holding out hope that it comes out today

AWAM was blue balling at its finest. sure some progression but that game needs to be like 6 more updates in before we see anything good.

as for this game; really hoping paperwork goes for the release today as we all could use one

So my reply was not directed towards this game as a culprit of milking even though ...give it a couple of more updates without actual sex...;)

Also I don’t think it’s a bit fair to simply say 2 months to get just one day worth. One day worth of game play in this game is about 2000 renders as compared to other games of 180-400 renders.

The only thing perhaps is the dev is abit poor in date estimates. Then again most game devs seems to have the same situation. Best is simply don’t mention date releases just to cover themselves if they can’t hit the target and end up pressurised.

Well, 2 things:
1. patron charges money on a monthly base. So to have to wait longer also increases the money paid for an actual update.
Yes, it is shitty to make more pressure on PW for something as good and well written as PS, but from a customer perspective it sometimes feels like your favourite cereal increased its price by a dollar or more. Till now, we had monthly updates.
2. PW asked his patrons if he should release the update without the pokerevent and then rerelease as it is done, or if he should do it in a oneshot. Both ideas were wanted, PW decided for the oneshot.

So something should change in future. a better worked out timeshedule would be fine so the customers know what they are waiting for end when to expect it. or less storystrings next to each other so the updates are less workintensive and the progress is high. or billing per major update. or splitting up, so monthly updates are guaranteed. Something like that.
And it would help getting your monthly "release" with Amy ;D

I don't want a loss in quality of the game. I really like it. I just want back to the monthly stuff. Even if an update isn't as big as it where before. 2000 Renders are nice to have, but i would prefere to get there in 400er chunks if it means more frequency.
The family issues are bad indeed. I forgot it, but also because the delay is not just because of that, but also because of structural problems, like too many stings, too many ideas to set next to each other... The life of an artist ;-) perhaps some pressure can help, perhaps not. we will see.
I'm really looking forward for this. like... REALLY. But i also did before my 3 weeks vacation, and there just the pokerevent and some other scenes where missing. now i'm back to work for 2 weeks... But hey, we finally hit Beta, and we get our sexy stuff soon, so there will be no frustration anymore ;D

While monthly updates have sort of become the norm on patreon, supporting a developer does not entitle people to them. Patreon is simply for supporting people whose work you enjoy. Developers are aware that delays could cost them some support and, if they determine that the quality of their project is worth more to them than a few extra bucks in their pocket, then more power to them. Those who truly appreciate the project will continue to support it regardless.

Hiya, firstly a massive thanks for your helpful posts and images, made me re-look at Day 5..
i had about 670-odd (non-cheat) save pages before deleting the whole lot, extracting the Images, and script01 file, and now on my third play-thru..
my question : i did not find any scripts for the bath-masturbation images (abath_tan 436 -> abath_tan 534) found in Images02 folder. scripts missing for that much image-work done on that many quality images is...confusing. were you able to find/unlock those scripts/parameters/storyline? (that honestly feels like it would be a better story-line [with greater stat-return] than the existing shower-mast scene with matt)

Shane2 This scenes are not implemented in the current version. As you can see there are more of bathroom scenes that are partially implemented, some just pictures, some already coded but not accesible in-game. Maybe dev think it's not the time for them. Maybe he wants to add more scenes later and release something like big "bathroom" update.
But i'm sure in future updates paperwork will add them properly. Currently you can count them as bonus for curious ones.

670 save pages??!?! I don't know whether to be impressed or concerned :p

Evilko covered it already. I'm pretty sure it made sense to do all the images at one time, but seeing as it will be months from now that those scenes might appear in game it probably just worth spending the time writing it all at one time. You can see this in some of the Chris bath scenes that are only seen if you cheat - the text is just a copy of Matt's that hasn't been rewritten for Chris yet.
