7.8 released last year in November, Zeta is known to take a long time and procrastinate like hell if I recall correctly. Don't expect an update before the end of the year, nor probably early 2021 either.

Pretty much it is, the last update took two and half years for just 4 new animations, so yeah, you can hope for another update but it's mostly like impossible.

As the Zeta Team are a paranoid and egotistic type of group, everything is locked away on their Discord, which you can only access by being a member of their dead forum, then they want you to link your forum account and verify it through the Discord after that. All they have done the past year or so is slightly touch up on previous animations and stages (considering they said they'd never do this until the game is 100%) and in terms of new content, there has been one really poor mock up of the supposedly next level.
Though, with the amount of excuses, silence and just general ignorance to those who ask questions about progress, this game will never see it through to the end. The last major update took well over 3 years to release and that was not even that special. Though they are very open to being salty and negative towards those who ask about what is new, when the easy solution would be for the team to post updates on their forums, whether it be new image previews or just generally keeping everyone informed, which is what it was supposed to be designed for doing, yet they do nothing which in turn causes the questions to be asked, so they are just causing their own problems at this point.

I got banned from their forum because I argued about the download link they were using, something that pretty much everyone argued too later. The download had shorteners and a lot of people were downloading virus and not the game. When I told them to use mega, they put a lot of excuses to not do it, the worst one, that mega couldn't fulfill the bandwidth, such a bullshit, then some white knight came to insult me, when i replied back, boom, banned.

Also, i went to their discord channel, just to find out they were talking shit about Rock Candy, saying he didn't want to work with them anymore or that he wasn't a nice person to work with, that of course, it's all fucking a lie.

They start acting like that towards creators after a certain amount of time, usually when Zeta dislikes a small detail that is not to her fetishes/liking, that is why they have gone through numerous artists that worked with them. Though they deny any of it and Rock has even stated the behaviour and how she disliked being treated on the forums themselves and on her own website.
They ban and remove anyone who attempts to show the public their type of behaviour and how they treat others, always acting like they have a god complex and thinking they own every part of the internet, just because they own a dead forum and Discord server, like some entitled idiots.
That is why they severely dislike the U18 website due to people having screenshot certain things they have said to others on their website after they had quickly deleted the comments and thread and have even had "Melissa" threaten to hack them if they did not spouting "lies", though everyone knows they are just empty threats.

Go to their forum, there you can find an update every 2 or 3 years, or go to their discord channel and play the "try don't get banned for good critics" game.

At this point it's just honestly a dying money milk as they are trying to make literally any amount of money off it. To even download it requires you to go through numerous ad.fly links only when you have your Ad Block off. They do it because a person visiting the download via that link earns them an incredibly tiny amount of cash, literally nothing worth a dollar even.
They refuse to upload it to a simple and safe download provider because of this and choose that over peoples virtual safety by introducing fake links and downloads in that ad.fly link. They have zero excuses to not upload somewhere safe and people judge them on this and in turn the Zeta Team get angry about people making these "assumptions" when the fans are totally in the right for bringing up such a dodgy way of providing a download.
The simple fact is they are not bothering to work on it hardly because no money is coming in their way and cover it up by saying "real life and work" comes first, though Zeta is seen on Second Life literally everyday of the week for a long amount of time just messing with her created avatars. They provide obvious quick mock ups of the "game" and some random updated animation/area every 6 or so months to fool people into believing they are actually doing something with it.
Don't get fooled by something so toxic, especially if you are new to the whole Love Potion game and content it comes with.

Even these forums on Project X are just as dilusional and toxic as their own community. No one makes any reasonable money off this game period. The game quality of Project X is pretty damn good and has a lot of content as it stands. Base your own opinions of the game off those perspectives.
If you're eager for more content, just accept you are likely to never experience more of Project X unless you follow it's development for a long time. Accept that and remember how good the rest of the game actually was to play through.

Good game but too bad updates takes ages. Which kills any support and money they could hope for.

A shame, always thought this game had a lot going for it, but maybe once people start giving up on the dev and no one cares anymore, maybr then they'll try a bit harder.

Nah, these developers make an effort when money is flashed in front of their eyes.
Well, I hate to be the "optimistic, blinded but hopeful" kind of guy, but slow progress is still progress (even if it drains us from our patience and will to keep an eye out for this game)

Havent seen any progress posted in their discord or what have you though so... really doubt its slow progress on game front, maybe art / sprite work but they still need to be implemented and everything.
I feel this, at least its not a dead patreon still pulling money.
