Understandable. I'm an old Trekkie, I prefer conflicts to be solved through diplomacy, not aggression. Actually, this is one of the things I liked in the last chapter: the ability to not kill some of the characters.

Since the new Treks introduced space ninjas I think I developed some kind of PTSD for them in particular and now they just trigger me to a point where I literally cringe when they are presented. I guess they remind me of how Kurtzman fucked up everything I loved for over 30 years, so it is mostly a me problem.

But I digress. Your comment made me think of an interesting observation.
If the best animations in a porn game are non porn parts does that mean more quality should be focused on the porn parts?

To me adult game and porn game is not the same.
Projekt Passion has a story that is not merely a vehicle to deliver sex scenes.
Projekt Passion is a really funny game even if all the sex scenes are taken out.

So I'm completely okay with story animations.

Just ok really? I find Projekt Passion to have one of the better animations among VNs here. More fluid than some of the biggest games here like BaDIK, AWAM, Eternum etc. I guess its all personal preference but from my experience playing other games, Projekt has them beat. Especially the newest Asha animations that are legit top tier.


Considering that Classy Lemon delivers pretty big updates in reasonable time frames we cant really say that those filler animations are affecting the updating process, while giving much more life to the gameplay. They are not meant to be super interesting, more so just to highlight a cutscene or a cool moment. Kira (the chick from the native tribe, not sure if that's her name) defeating soldiers in the latest episode was especially cool.

First of I suppose I need to clarify what ok means, for me that is a 5 - 7/10. I would probably go with 6. They are fluid, and perhaps they are fantastic with the sound on, but I don't use that so can't comment on that part. I just look at the visuals, and those are nothing impressive to me. I would agree with you that this is better than AWAM and on par with Eternum, but I don't consider those to be top-of-the-line either. Eternum sits on a 6 - 7 animation quality for me, even though it is one of my fav games on here. Not sure which I would put near the top end, but AceX studios games, BADIK, TFMG, Love Season would probably fall in the 7 - 10 category for me. Tbh my scale puts one game on 10 then compares everything to that. I also compare them to other non game animations from GB, EXGA etc, so most games will never get to a 7 or more for me.

As for the dev process, I have no idea. This was my first time trying the game so I don't know how long the process lasts, but I do know about opportunity costs. Every second spent on doing one thing is a second spent not doing something else. It's cool that it brings something of value to you, but for me, it just devalues the rest. Those animations have to take hours of work, and I'd rather have one more hour of written dialogue than a 5 second animation of a thumbs up and someone smacking someone else with a stick. But then again I do not value non emotional and non sexual animations whatsoever, so all of this is not a complaint, just my personal viewpoint.

Just started the game and already gotta update though as the update dropped a day after downloading the previous version lol. But anywho, I laughed my ass off at the first game over. Kinda reminds me of those old Sierra games (foe example King's Quest) type of game overs. Just no witty game over quote though. I dunno why but I think some witty game over quotes are needed for those game over screens.

I think I understand. I'm kinda opposite. Watched too many AMVs, so short (<10 seconds) looping porn animations with one or two angles don't really do anything for me, but a choreographed ninja fight longer than a minute and with a matching soundtrack? I might be looking for wrong things here but that's the stuff I love

you can get a scene with Ashe regardless of the planet you choose, so I guess Emily will be available later too

Seems like it, yeah. If you are asking the same scene I don't think so but if you are asking are we lock out their path, no you can still go after Ashe even if you chose Tollorix first.

You did an amazing job doing Ashe's characterization throughout the whole series. I was surprised with Ashe's reply when/if MC told Ashe he did it with the Sorcians.

That was funny!

Emily was also great because beyond presenting the crew's interactions as a comedy, there's a depth to Emily and it provides a contrast compared to Ashe.

Man! This game is so good. Congratulations again!

I can't wait to play Season 2 in August or so. Hope your patrons double from Steam release man!
