Hmm, because my game is working without the patch...I'm wondering if my version of the main game files have already been patched and reuploaded without the dev mentioning in the main post? Or will I still experience game bugs later on that are suppose to be addressed in the buggy patch that was released separate...?

I deleted all saves, maybe I need to delete also the Persistent files. The game, for me, crashes after the 1st screen, with or without the fix.

I'll try and report back.

EDIT: It is indeed solved by deleting the Persistent Files from:
AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Protagonist-666
AND
AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Protagonist-1640344693

After that, WITHOUT any fix the game continues.

Sorry to hear that but is this happening with everyone?
I've tried running the build both with and without fix and it's working fine.
The fix isn't for anything game-breaking. Near the end a variable wasn't being counted and dialogues weren't appearing properly. The fix is for that.

Changes made, prevent the loading of previous Persistent files. I have no clue what or why, only that by deleting the persistent files the game works, without that, the game crashes after the 1st screen.

Anyway, it would be nice to warn players that old saves will not work.

Some people don't auto load the saves from AppData, those will have no problems.

Extremely sorry to hear that. I always check the game if it works with previous saves. For me, it was working without problems.

Probably the problem was on the persistent file, since the saves didn't load, I deleted them, without trying the deletion of the persistent file first.

Why yours isn't affected, I have no clue.

Mac version works fine, no issues.

Well, without the patch, the game worked just fine, including loading saves, even with 0x52_URM installed. But with the fix applied, I had to restart, because the saves didn't work anymore. But other than that, no problems at all. Also didn't need to delete anything.

But I have to say, this update was incredible short, didn't take 5 min to finish the new content.

After the Hospital bed scene, the Game Logo shows up, then the Dev Logo, a text screen and crash.

This doesn't feel like corrupted files. But, I've been wrong before.

Hmm...I just tried an older release and noticed your Renpy version has changed from 8.0.3 to 8.2.0... And doing this can break players saves, which has happened to many other titles who updated their Renpy game engine mid-way in their project.

Also, letting you know that normally anyone who is using the useful 0x52_URM tool (which is a non evasive tool, that does not affect game saves) works for almost all Ren'py versions (and should work with the new Renpy 8.2.0 version used...but the tool will not for any Renpy games using Renpy version 6.8.4 and below.)

And with your previous release (ProtagonistRE-Ep1Act2-pc), it worked great...(a user can find out what's behind most of the story choices like a walk through mod). But now it crashes your title right away when trying to start your title...this is not normal, meaning there are potential issues with your coding.

Ok now I understand what seems to be the problem here. I had to update the renpy engine before this build to be able to release the official Android build. Updating the engine probably messed things up. Thanks for pointing out the engine version. I think I know how to fix it now.

Navigate to the folder %AppData%\Renpy and find the folder associated with the game (should be obvious unless the dev did something funky).
If you delete that you will start with a clean slate.

Ah, I thought you might have just cleared out the game/saves folder (you need to clear both). If you did that then yeah, no clue. Unless you are one of those mad lads that unpacks/overwrites old versions with new ones.

There won't be any NTR. And about other kinks, every H-scene entirely depends on your will. If you want to avoid something then you can avoid it entirely. So no chance of running into something you don't want to.
