Don't think so. At least, I haven't been able to find the way. In Girl Life, you had to talk to your sister until she mentions the father, then find a lorry [driver] on the main road who'd direct you to a place in City....and there seems to be no lorry.
Also in girl life it was good to talk to mother and stepfather about dad, they mention him beeing driver, then in industrial area 'go to road to pavlovsk' and there was lorry where you could ask for father -> industrial part of city -> storage terminal -> ask manager about father ....

If by "gym" you mean the "I'm playing the machine-translated-to-english version" kind of "gym", then it's the living room at home, not the sports club at the community centre. Translation derps happen. The closest word in english would probably be "hall": "living hall", "sports hall" etc.
Something I'm stuck on: after I beat Kristina Zvereva twice during saturday running competitions, her relationship with me went down to 0. Now, talking to her in school raises the number like it usually does with other students, but as soon at it hits 80 Kristina's response becomes aggressive and relationship drops down to 20, after which the cycle can be repeated indefinitely (talk to her until 80, she gets mad, down to 20, talk to her until 80, she gets mad, down to 20). I tried "cheating" the relationship to max, but regardless of the value I still get an angry response and the drop to 20 the next time I talk to her. Is that by design (the idea being that you winning the competition pisses her off "permanently" and you can't get max relationship with her ever again), or a bug?... Or is there something I have to do further down the road to "redeem" myself and unlock max relationship again?

It's by design. One of the next couple of gym classes, probably the first, her plot moves forward and you get to pick how to handle it.

I believe fake ID was removed, so now your character needs to be 18 to do certain things.

By "gym classes" you mean P.E. class on tuesdays and thursdays, right? I seem to be missing....whatever it is I'm missing - three weeks of going there (instead of just skipping the whole school day) - and the community centre's club, just in case - and I got nothing to show for it

In GL there's a rumor that she goes to the coach on fridays which is why i'm mentioning it, so there's a chance it's triggered outside the PE class. Also, it's all automated as long as you keep running races, so if you can't run races on saturday and nothing happens in school, then it's probably bugged.
Then again, if the devs changed what triggers it in the latest versions, all i can say for sure is that Christina's relationship getting low like that is what's supposed to happen.

As far as I know the Province team are all still active. They (much like us) tend to release every few months and then post a couple of bug fix releases to follow it up.
