Well Kagura Games finally decided to release one game they had in their projects for a long time. And it's a game i was waiting for very long too, it seems pretty good. Yeah sure it's only one game i know, better than nothing tho. And for those asking, the game they will release in four days is Explorers of the Abyss

That sounds a lot like the way Sekai Project does things, and now I'm wondering if Kagura is just one of their branches. I can't find anything on google about them being connected in some way, but I do remember some years ago Sekai Project said they wanted to release their more raunchy 18+ games under a different company name.
continuing this, I feel like that final four-man ambush (right before the final boss) is impossible to pass without losing your virginity. I just decided to go past the room they were in and go straight to the boss, especially since I felt like the treasures in the room aren't really all that worth it.

Ugh, another disappointment. I was waiting patiently since I knew there was an uncensored version with professional translation on its way and then this. I don't get the 3,5/5 rating, even the sex scenes are boring.
So I've played for a bit and havent really found any h-content even though some parts seemed like there should be. Since I got the Kagura Games version do I need to go download the hentai content patch from them? Because I assumed the one that is here would be the one with hentai stuff.

It takes about one hour until the first H scene unless you lose one of the boring and easy battles on purpose and let me tell you, you didn't miss anything. It's about as exciting as the battles.
MTL = Machine Translated. It means it uses a language AIs like google translate for example to translate the script. And as you know, google translate for sentences is often very jank, incoherent even.
Edited MTL, which was what the original fan translation was for this game, means that the script is manually edited after it is translated to make the script more coherent and are often proofread also, although the quality of the end result is dependent on whoever is translating it.
Most of the MTL avaliable are fan translations, although there are some devs who release "offcial english" versions with MTL slap onto it, and the result are obvious on the end product.
You can even do MTL by yourself if u have a rpgmaker game that you want to play. There are guides online and also somewhere in the F95zone forums where you can check it out if you want, so unedited MTLs are basically a no effort translation that is a pain to read, but having something is better then nothing i guess.
With the official translation out, it basically means the MTL version is kinda obsolete, since official releases also often have better formatting and text fonts in addition to a proper translation. So if you want to play the game, you can just ignore the MTL version and get the official one. Also the official one has uncensored CGs while the original and MTL one are censored.
I'm using your save file and in the recollection room when I fight the bosses I take no damage. Why is that? I take damage from the black ninja like enemies.. Not the unique bosses.

Yeah, when I did a virgin run I came to the same conclusion. The loot you get from it is not even very good. But yeah, you start in a trap that takes at least 4 turns to escape, which means you cannot escape before being raped.
Isn't that technically up to luck? From what I played (admittedly my main run was non-virgin) the actions they take during those fights seem to be random. So while you can't guarantee not getting raped, don't you theoretically have a chance?
Or do they always tear clothes/attempt rape at least once per turn?
Out of context, you pretty much are willing to start a fight.
