never going to be any major
rework on the duke line, eventually getting the option of removing his is always the plan, all I said was I was going to ask my patrons if I should move this to a higher priority. And as you can see the result:

Sorry the latter half of last year and the start of this year were a bit rough. The update should be coming latter today, I just think there are some misunderstanding need to be cleared asap.
Sorry I misunderstood or more misstated what you were doing with the duke quest... I never ment to imply that you were actually changing the inside of the quest only that it was becoming optional in some way shape or form and that the "war agiants the duke" would actually have a real consequence where his current story line was effective removed... If this means he dies and we get less story but more military and political power without his story line, or if we get a new story which we can choose between the current duke story and a new seperated one I didn't mean to assume... I also never thought you were going to get rid of old content clearly some people like it and I don't knock what people are enjoying... Just that not everyone was enjoying the Duke....
On a personal note I am enjoying alot of the cheesy slut cringe when it comes to getting the queens army laid and some of the castle stuff... But not everyone wants to see every relationship, but we still want to grow the kingdom and get to the parts we do enjoy... I personally don't like the duke and I would like the consentual barbarian gangbangs to be more optional too, but other people do. (Having said that if she were to lose the war with the barbarians and there was a good gangrape as they storm the castle I wouldn't mind that bad end)... I really like your war, conquest, and rape angle... But others might not... Others might not enjoy the arena as much as I do and want to skip...

The Issue is you are catering to several different preferences/fetishes having a large portions of the game devoted to one story with a single preference, and having all that content mandatory and all at once creates a grind.. Where I need to grind through the duke or the second 1/2 of the barbarian quest, or I miss out on important political support and player stats for the queen and her kingdom. When I only play those portions to advance the game so I can get to the parts of the game I do enjoy... Other players will probably feel the the same way about the arena, I love the direction you have been going with the arena so far but other s who are not as into the rough stuff as I am will probably only play through the arena to get it over with grind it out and get back to the stuff they do like... This is a bit of a problem if the stuff we tolerate is mandatory and part of a larger story arc where each event in the story arc is in the same fetish over and over... Having said that it could also be a plus if the stuff we do like is in a long chain of events... The best solution is to have a story immersive way of bypassing the chain of events/chapters of the story while still getting a political or military victory for the kingdom, getting the game stats up and getting to the stuff we like the best... You can't make everyone happy but you could take a chunk of these chapter chain of events and making a in story fast lane...
Just as an example... Player could wage war on the duke and remove his story from the game, if this option could kill him or lets him live but no romance/fun slut sex maby he gets NTRed later when the Queen loses to the city with the arena... You would not have to change anything just give an in story option to skip the duke while still getting his political/military bonus
Another example allow a full military victory over the Barbarians (skipping the cheesy slut cringe in the diplomacy line)... Queen player would get a military/political bonus for the Barbarian lands but the consequence is a Barbarian remnant joins the rival city with the arena... Which would give more opponents in the arena it's self (more options for battle rape, when if you skipped the diplomacy that's what you want anyway)... But you don't need to remove the slutty chain of events lots of people seem to like it...
Which leads to the rival city there is plenty of opportunities to make both peace loving slut and War rape queen storys people happy..
Story Point 1: Start with back room politics and areana fights... If the queen loses in the political back room (maby with a reduced ammount of fights for slut lovers, extra fights for rape lovers)... She has to choose to go to war or become a vassle and play thing for the rival king... (Being able to back out of fights and lose in the political back room gives an opportunity to skip the rape heavy part of the story for those who don't like it... Perfect opportunity for slutty story everyone can enjoy.
Story point 2: If she wins in the back room Politics the rival city will declare war, if she loses in the back room politics but won't just submit war is also declared.... If she loses the war she becomes the slutty play thing from story point one (after some battle defeat scenes)... If she wins the war she can change the rival city into a whores paradice for more slut story scenes and you can skip to the next storyline to avoid rape scenes.. (War gives NTR option for Duke)
Story point 3: becoming the rival kings sexual plaything is not a game over this is back room politics version 2 where she will win... I don't know how she wins but you can figure it out... Maby the rival king has a heart attack and she is in an opportune situation... Maby there is something else that bails her out... Then move the story along... We don't need to have all content in one play through... If you give both parts of your audience an option to focus on what they really want to enjoy...
Also with the rape storyline the Queen isnt the only one who can get raped... If she is corrupt and bad ass boss bitch enough she can let her troops enjoy the spoils of war... Also if she wants to put conquered women under her for some nice Lezdom that could move the rape story along nicely.
Having a game where there is lots of choice can make things complex when it comes to keeping the choices relavant... I think it would be fine that when a city or region story line ends and we move on to a new part of the game all we see is the political and military bonuses follow not every choice needs to follow us through the whole game... But when a storyline ends you could add some sand box sex scenes in the conquered city or region depending on our choices
