Well kind of wonder what type that you are looking for and proberly that is the artist style as well. Unless you are looking to see the artist give a different take, i see each of the artist done very well for each character but to each their own, and the cartoony style does fit the theme of the game as well. I'm glad on the hard work the developer is doing for the game.
Queen and Suki had a more Anime-ish look. It's still cartoonish, but it's more akin to something you'd see on Toonami. It tends to be a cartoonish art style that is associated with content that is geared towards more mature audience.

Scarlett reminds me of Lois from Family Guy. It's a a different set of shapes being used for the eyes and other body features. I get it that she's supposed to have the silly royal look, but the only reason I got back to this game today was the 1st thumbnail where she looks really good. I urge you to go the the first page in this thread and look at the first screenshot. Looks how gorgeous the character design is there and then look at her in game model. Visual aesthetics are extremely important in a porn game.

Natasha looks extremely goofy like some kind of looney tunes character, I don't even know. I guess she's supposed to be cute and appeal to the same fanbase as Overwatch Mei, with that pathetic shy personality. I just find it to be every single pet peeve thrown into one character.

I don't even know what to say about goblin girl and orc girl. If you put them side by side they don't even feel like they're part of the same game. Goblin girl is goofy again with no sexually attractive features, unless you fit into a niche audience and the Orc girl just reminds me of the typical orc sprites in RPGM or other Text based games. But I can see how orc girl having a masculine physique and her main specialty being anal also caters to a specific audience.

The problem is when you try to cater to every single audience you end up catering to none.

I don't know what the release schedule has been for the latest content. But imagine if you'd be eagerly waiting for an update, oh boy they just announced they're working on a new character, you wait for a couple weeks, maybe months and then you're met with a questionable character design that you find it very hard to be attracted to and seems to be completely inconsistent with the initial art style of the game and the expectations it was setting.
Would you still be supporting that product?

If I were a Patreon supporter this would be the moment where I'd think that so much effort went into content that I personally find irrelevant that I would just end my support.
It would've been incredibly frustrated to have supported the project on Patreon only to witness it turn into some cartoonish comedy.
Would you still be supporting that product?
Thanks for your anti-patreon propaganda. You're jumping to too many conclusions here and going out of your way to make fun of people who enjoy and support the game, so I will be ignoring your positive feedback. My art style from version 0.4.0 was never going to last. Literally nothing would have came of it because I can't draw in the first place, that's why everything was line art.

Mate, you haven't played the game in a year and you come in yelling about how everything has changed and for some reason you roast the artist for creating characters you personally don't like. There's 6 girls total, it's okay to not like some of them. I'm not creating characters to "fit into this niche audience", what you're telling me from saying that is that you personally don't like anything other than the basic hentai slut human girls. And I'd say, you're pretty dang boring. I've created 6 different girls that all do one thing, let guys rail them. The main fetish for the game is free use and every girl has a different personality trait that revolves around that.

The hard truth is that people support me because I constantly release updates, am not showing signs of abandoning, and are on track to creating a good game. Compare this to literally any other DaZ RenPy game that has people shelling out $10 subscriptions just so the creator can go to the DaZ store and purchase more poses because they don't have any actual 3D modeling experience.

I've created a game that works on every device, has modding capabilities, has mod tools for non-programmers, has unique characters (not a parody game), has non-flash 2D animations (Simbro as an example), has actual gameplay and is not a visual novel, and has amassed a gigantic following after switching art styles. But, you think the girls aren't hot so everyone should stop supporting. :WaitWhat:

I've been very careful in my post to state several times that this is my opinion and I'm judging it from the perspective of my tastes. Nowhere did I go and tell people what they should do with their money or not.
All the points I've been making and you just reduced them all to "anti patreon propaganda". The point I was trying to make with them is that it would be difficult for me to commit to a product when it strayed so much from what it was promising to be. If only had Queen and Suki's models and I had to predict a future for this game, never would I thought that these would be the next characters to come out.

The "Would you still be supporting that product?" question was rhetorical in an attempt to put people in my shoes, perhaps I could've worded that better.

Look I tried to to find a way to be polite, but it seems it didn't work. The point I'm trying to make is: what's the point of constant updates and all the other fancy features if I, as consumer of your product don't care about anything that came out after Suki? There's been a noticeable decline in the visual appeal of recent characters, all I wanted was to express my concern as a former fan of your product.

I'm not adamant about going back to 0.4 art style. As I said, I liked the new Queen and Suki models, it just happens that everything that came afterwards was drastically different from a visual perspective.

Making fun of people's tastes and roasting the artist?
I've tried to play devil's advocate and offer the idea that I see how the characters pander to certain fetishes and someone would like them instead of just dismissing them as being bad and that's me making fun of people's fetishes?

And I'm not "roasting" the artist, my comments are in regards to their work, nowhere do I go and attack them personally.
I go out of my fucking way to criticize someone's work, which is made publicly available on the internet, in a polite manner while also being careful to state that none of the statements I'm making are absolute, just my personal preference and I can see how other people might enjoy it instead. But let's dismiss it all to roasting, good way to have a mature dialogue.

They also seem to have created Suki, which I have praised, so I provided a mix of aspects of their work I enjoyed and some that just don't match my tastes.

But you go all defensive and attack my tastes as being boring for being unable to enjoy visually unappealing characters, concepts which I'd have no problem with in other pieces of work.

I understand that what I'm doing here is pointless. It's ridiculous to think that everything will change based on one person's feedback. I've just accepted the fact that this is no longer the game for me and I'll move on.

You haven't even made the effort of reading my message if that is your conclusion.

Yh, I'm aware of that. Was just wondering if local version would make loading times shorter.
Yup yup, it would. I have the raw HTML download on the website as well, if you're capable of hosting your own server on linux and running the game locally like that.

Regarding the survey on Patreon, is it possible to find out early on whether your idea got through or is even deemed possible or do we just have to wait and see until it gets introduced if it does at all? :p

I'm just grabbing people's ideas. Ultimately, I decide on what's going to be in the game so you'll just have to wait and see.
