So... wtf is this about? Why in the hell would a porn game have a privacy policy?

Game looked really good, but i really hope people don't put up with this BS
Hey! This is like a default privacy policy my lawyer created 2 years ago that would let me gather information if need be, but it is something we did not end up using. For example, I wanted to let people create their own account on my website and let them upload their own mods. I scrapped that idea.

The only part of the privacy policy that I actually use is the collection of anonymous analytics, stuff like "where did the player stop playing the game?" and "did the person's game crash?".

I am not offended by the concern and I will message my lawyer to cut down the "scary" parts of the privacy policy, because I do not use personal data at all.

Will someone please explain this?
I'm not opposed to someone uploading the paid version of the game on f95zone. But as the developer, I'm not going to do it myself.

Put a button in the options that let people opt-out of data collection entirely, instead.
Technical data collection is fine, but such a button must always be there anyway, i think.:coffee:
Next to that button add an explanation about what kind of data you collect, then people will decide themselves if they want to take part or not.

The button must be there if you collect personal data. You do not need an opt-out feature if data is anonymous.

I am willing to add an opt-out feature if people are scared, but I think with an updated privacy policy it will be less awkward.

Do as you like.
I simply consider it basic courtesy, to offer opt-out no matter what kind of data you collect.
Who knows, perhaps then some of us will actually let you collect, instead of blocking it with a firewall. :sneaky::coffee:

DPMaker this is the way. It provides transparency and safety for users. I was literally about to play the game and by chance I saw the comment by embarrassed and thought hell no. Sucks because I really like the premise of your game and was looking forward to playing it :(
