This is such a naive story! As if some 16-year-old schoolboy was writing it. First, the MC protects the beauty from the villain at the prom night! Of course, she immediately falls in love with him. Then, the modest girl turns into a wild slut.
And in the end, three unfamiliar girls come to the MC, and say that they are his daughters and he is like: OK! LET ALL LIVE TOGETHER! AS ONE BIG HAPPY FUCKING FAMILY!

Yes, I played more and realized that the whole game is a comedy of the absurd and looks quite consistent and fun. I was wrong. At first i thought that the author was trying to build some kind of drama with a “deep plot”.

Yes, I played more and realized that the whole game is a comedy of the absurd and looks quite consistent and fun. I was wrong. At first i thought that the author was trying to build some kind of drama with a “deep plot”.

Two things...
First of all, a father romancing his daughter... Even a seasoned writer would find it hard to write a serious story along that plotline...
Secondly, even if they could, it would require a long build-up with potentially little pay-off overtime... Something, I don't think the audience of adult VNs has fully learned to appreciate yet...

Don't get me wrong, I would really like it, hell, I even dream of it - a convincing yet enjoyable story with an incest theme... But I haven't quite seen it done in adult VNs yet... But there are a handful that gets close...

It wouldn't be my favorite route, but do you really act in games the way you would do with real persons?

For the most, yes, I do tend to go with decisions that I would make if these games were real life, particularly if those choices are between being a good guy or an asshole.

Talking about father-daughter stuff, I wonder how many of the fans of this genre are (like me) actually young guys who still never thought about children. Despite being different from the main character, I really enjoy playing guys a bit older than me, and furthermore when a hot girl in the game says daddy a kind of weird and fucked up soft spot is hit inside me ahah. Only if she's hot tho.

I don't generally tend to go with the F/D stuff, mainly because the thought of my Dad and sister like that grosses me out However, I have played a couple of games with it like Dating My Daughter and Depraved Awakening and have enjoyed them, but for the most part I'm more interested in B/S, M/S, M/D, and C/C.

Generally, i hate all VNs. But i can't hate this one.
If this contains free roam feature, it may become one of in my favourite list along with Takeover, dark magic, false hero, etc...

No. Free roam destroys most games. Look at indecent desires, it started as amazing VN and then the devs changed to a horrible free roam system with no hints whatsoever, a horrible designed walkthrough that you can't follow if you look at it in the middle of already started paths and barely any new content for each update.

Free roam is mostly used by devs to pretend they're doing big upgrades by making you grind a scene 20 times before you can progress from a boob scene to an ass scene. It's also never actual "freedom" that you seem to praise. You have to visit characters for specific scenes and events at specifics days during a week and at specific times, introducing yet another pointless and stupid grind for this game genre.

Do not change this, let it stay VN. Thank you.

Of course, I got your point. In indecent desire, After dark alley quest i almost cursed that game thinking it is buggy game. But I just missed thing there (i didn't know that some money available just Infront of front door). It Just need a proper walkthrough & good timely upgrades like *false hero*

You hit the nail on the head with the second part of this. I've been writing stories for almost 10 years and I can easily flesh them out more/prefer to do so. Hell... the original draft of Radiant is far different/far more in-depth than what I put into the game.

As a developer you have to know your audience: and most people don't play lewd games hoping to experience some literary masterpiece. Not to mention the same people who complain that a story "isn't realistic enough" also complain that there's "too many words" when it actually is (check the "Postings" of those who've complained in this thread -- I'm not even being facetious).

What matters in an adult game is cutting straight to the point-- showing only the most relevant details and the "fun bits" of dialogue/story with little filler in between. Only once players have grown to love characters can you flesh them out a bit more... with a healthy mix of the lewd/romantic stuff in between to keep people interested.

I'll admit that I do get a little tired of games that feel a bit too ridiculous because they're a dime a dozen, which is why I greatly appreciate games like this one that feel more grounded in reality even if there are small elements that seem unrealistic. But overall I do think people whine about realism too much, especially in games that have a greater level of realism than most because, at the end of the day, these are works of fiction which by this very definition means they can be as unrealistic as they like. It's also ironic that they whine about realism in a porn game when the entire porn industry was built around unrealistic sexual scenarios and expectations.

Ultimately, I think it would be a good thing if there could be a better balance between games where sex is simply a part of the story, and games where sex is the main point of the story as it's currently heavily tilted towards the latter.
