VN - Ren'Py - Radiant [v0.6.3] [RK Studios]

This has awesome character renders and a very well written story. Honestly it is to good because I feel it so much that my depresion is comming back from it. Because of this I have to take away one star because there is a warning missing, that you should only play it with good mental health.

I just started playing through Radiant last night, and was hooked from the opening scenes.
Visually, the game is stunning, and the storytelling is masterfully done.

I'd personally consider this game to be among the best visual novels that I've played, even compared to such titles as Fate/Stay Night and Utawarerumono.

I usually look for the free stuff but this was so good I subscribed to his Patreon. The story telling gets you hooked. The characters have meaning and the detail going into this is fantastic. I would highly recommend this game to anyone.

I love it so pretty with a great and very unique story and I really can not wait for more content and updates..So far I feel I understand where this is going and it will pain me to wait,but i must to see where the story goes from here <3

I know, it's in a very early stage and not much content is to be seen, but HOLY SHIT this is well made!

The graphics are simply beautiful and the story (so far) is one of the best I've seen here. I have no idea how they did it, but I was ACTUALLY sad when MC read Gracies letter! I downloaded this for the porn, not for the feels dammit! I've known about this character for maybe 20 minutes at that point, but the way this story is delivered just makes it feel realistic. This is just fleshed out to perfection.

If they keep this up, this might be the game because of which I publicly admit supporting games like these on Patreon.

the first porn game i went for the porn and stayed for the plot, don't get me wrong the sex part is also perfect tho in0.1.2 the only sex part is only one scene.

Only in the early stages of its development, and yet Radiant is already one of the most memorable, beautiful games I've come across. Besides the graphical beauty of the girls, the game has a genuinely touching story sure to draw anyone with a romantic inclination in. The storywriting is the kind of good where you could come with the intention of playing an erotic game, but end up forgetting about that and just simply enjoying the writing, the characters and the emotional journey of it all. I can't wait to see more from this game in the future - it'll be well worth the wait.

I remember playing this the day ver 0.1 was released, and I was positive I had left a review or written something in the thread. Rather annoyed that I didn't.

I'm excited. I am honestly and genuinely excited, to see how this develops.

I like the models, the writing is decent (I won't say perfect, but I don't cringe, either. It seems believable dialog, and gets the story and the emotions conveyed well).

I like the multiple paths, and the fact that it doesn't seem to lock you into one after a few choices, but rather has a variety of ways for things to unfold.

None of the "drama" seems unrealistic to me, though as in most games, it is exaggerated.

I usually like to let games stew for a while, and not download every new version. That way, when I return to them, there is a lot more content. I don't think I'll hold out with this one. The day I see 0.2 is out, I plan to download it and continue the story.

It is a very well written story with beautiful renders. I realy love the thoughts and efford that was put in here as well. however I sadly had to stop at some point in the start because:


With that said, you do amazing work so far, please keep going with your gameproject, it is a piece of art people will fall in love with.

Jokes aside - I realy love the story and direction it takes so far. Renders look good, story is engaging, even if I first was a little confused and a bit annoyed in the beginning, with all the problems going on.

It was realy heavie to take all this shit in at once - but what can I say? Life sometimes realy is a bitch like that and it reminds me, that even if I have a lot of shit going on in my life myself - I still can be happy, because it could be even worse.

So for now 5/5 - keep it up guys!

This game has a lot of potential. I was impressed about the background story, very touching and well written.
In this version there are few options but this is just the beginning. In addition the Renders are stunning.
I'm very sure this game is going to be a Smash Hit.

Just finished 1.2 and I"m thoroughly enjoying the story and can't wait to see where it goes from here. I was genuinely sad at some points and I feel for the girls.

Renders are top notch, I just wish there weren't any single choice "choices", but whatever, just my own personal opinion.

Amazing start to a game, great renders(some of the best ever), good writing, good plot and very well made(simple instructions and no errors)

The only problem i have with the game so far is i wouldn't let three people into my home based on nothing but their similarity to a woman i dreamt of and i find it hard to believe MC would either given his fame, especially as they are poor model aged girls and you are a rich model agent, for me that screams scam.

Other than that the game is damn near perfect(wish i could give 4.5/5), cant wait for more.

• Unlikeable and inconsistent MC (at times polite, then again aggressive, cocky and pushy)
• MC still looks like 20, although - according to the story - he should be almost 40.
• Blue-eyed blonde, brown-eyed brunette & green-eyed redhead triplets? My ass.
• Cheesy, far-fetched and shallow story. Yikes, the story is really weak - second-hand embarrassment free of charge.
• Trivial dialogue (which - again - made me cringe a lot).
• "Daddy", "sweetie" - you guys just met for the first time, so could you please cut the crap?
• Annoying "humour"
• Being able to read other people's thoughts.
• Single "choices"
• Heart gesture. Just no.

My first thought when I saw the banner of Radiant:
Oh, someone is trying really hard to appeal to the masses and get into their pockets.
The visuals are nice (aside from the incest tag probably the main reason why Radiant is so popular) - other than that it has been just a mediocre experience.
I've seen my fair share of poorly written adult VNs - and Radiant is a prime example.
I don't know how many times I moaned out aloud while reading - and no, those weren't moans of pleasure.

Only on other game has impressed me so much I had to write a review, that being Kindread: The Redburns, and if this game continues at this rate, it is easily going to be top 3 on this site.

Normally when I see a game that catches my eye these past few months I just add it to my list of games to eventually play on this website, but something about this game intrigued me, so I just up and downloaded it right then to play. And holy shit, am I glad I decided to do that. This game is absolutely stellar in just what it has so far.

First off, what probably caught my eye is the attractive girls and story heading (which doesn't actually spoil the plot of the beginning btw), so I went into the game expecting those 3 girls. But I quickly forgot about my interest in them once I met Gracie, every moment with her felt so immersive and I was completely hooked on the interactions with her. It lead to one of the best done sex scenes of any game so far, winding up the plot into a very interesting way... all in just the prologue.

Brooke is gorgeous. She and Gracie could honestly be the main girls of their own games, but the fact that Brooke is in this game too as another girl you can pursue just adds to the game's appeal. Gracie has almost no match of all the games I've played in how much I like her just because of the story, which makes me especially invested in Olivia. You get so invested in her that you can honestly be brought to tears in the story that has been shown so far, which I indeed was (and once again, all that is just the prologue).

When the 3 girls finally show up, I was gobsmacked as much as the mc was, seeing Olivia. The models make the story believable and they're truly beautiful. But not just that, so are their characterization and personalities. The fleshing out they've received so far makes them very intriguing and I'm greatly looking forward to see how the mc's relationship with them pans out. Olivia esp, because she looks so much like her mother.

The models have been uniquely made with regards to their skin and complexion and general look. That and their personality is why they really feel like real characters rather than generic sex interests like other games. The game has a unique relationship and character progression that impacts both your personality and your interactions with the characters, you can be dark if you want, lustful or wholesome. I'm not even going to have a look at dark, I don't want to see the girls treated poorly since it seems to be more than just domination from comments, but the happy/lust stats are more than enough for me.

This game is a masterpiece so far just from what I've seen, the story from the very beginning isn't what you expect due to the fact that enough info is given in the website synopsis to hook you but not enough to spoil the game. Even the main menu gives me this strange mixture of wistfulness, sadness, happiness and beauty. This could be the makings of greatness.

All in all, this is the first game I can say legitimately made me cry, Gracie is one of the best girls ever created for one of these games and this game is so well done so far in terms of it's characters' models, interactions, sex scenes that if it continues at this rate it'll easily be top 3 on this site. I absolutely can't wait to see more of this game. 10/10.

It is a really good game with a lot of though put into it. While a coma and memory loss can be a crutch, the devs make it different. The first sex scene is done really well and in a believable way,

This is not the game for you if you don't like fapping with a tear in your eye. It is just well written.

So this game got my curiosity stirring because it seemed to just come out of no where on the trending page. Already accumulating over 100 votes I had to see what the hype was about.

First off I want to start off by saying that I really hope this gets completed all the way through because the story is intriguing. I'll admit that there were points where I shed a tear or two because of what is going on. This story can go in soooo many directions.

The girls are beautiful. Loving the different personalities. The sex scene was also put together nicely. If all the sex scenes will be presented like this then I can onliy wait in anticipation.

I have yet to see how the choices play into the MC story.

So yeah to the Dev....job well done.

After looking through several of the other reviews, I feel that perhaps people on here are getting a little jaded and cynical. (Yeah, that may be redundantly redundant, but I don't care.) Here is my opinion on it:

I just played through version 1.2 and I can honestly say that this game is the first one since Being a DIK that I have even thought about going to their Patreon page to sign up. I think that this has the potential to easily be an all-time top 3 game on F95. I could be wrong, but it has my attention. After playing 100+ games on here over the last year, I can say that ten are memorable beyond a day or two. Five were actually good. Three made me sit up and pay attention and Radiant was one of these three.

I look forward to seeing it develop and (hopefully) finish one day. From the 4.5 stars out of 100 votes, looks like I am not the only one.
