I can understand that, if I didn't have my per peace with how the reviews work in here I would do the same, and at some point probably will, I just think that because of what you mentioned it cheapens the reviews, I participated briefly of a discussion about this before, in the end, I don't judge games by their reviews I judge by the first 100 and last 100 posts, but if it will help a good game like this get more people I'm into it.

I agree on it cheapening the reviews, and I hate that. My own problem might be because I don't give out reviews enough, as I don't like to give out negative reviews on this site, feels that if I'm playing it for free, I shouldn't shit on someone's hard work.

Honestly, things here is 1/2 game 1/2 porn. The game part a lot of time we can give a objective review, as we all mostly understand what's a good game and what's a bad game. But the porn part.... people like different stuff, and when the kink hits the spot, people will give out that 5 star no matter how bad the game is.

I can't even count the times my messages got erased. Many times I got the message "off topic", once it was "flaming an user" (entitled douchebag had it coming, seriously), most of the time I don't even get notified.. Suddenly puff.

At some point it is annoying, but at some point also I kind of understand. Sometimes conversations go totally out of track.

So I would not worry about it too much. Just keep participating and if message got erase, don't worry.

On another topic is red rocket a girl or a guy? I normally would not care, but character appearing so lewd in the novel I kind of wanna know.

About Red Rocket, I'm just going with "They" as a pronoun util it is official, but i belive they are a girl.

About the posting, well, I just think is too arbitrary for my taste, in the end, it boils down to "mod liked this, the mod didn't like this" and I don't like that, because in some of my deleted posts I was polite, and tried to be helpful, once I even answered a troll unknowingly, then someone warned me, and I responded to the warning saying that I would ignore said troll, and those were deleted, and other points there is no listed reason as you said, and that is annoying, and some times it is because it was off-topic, but I had conversations on topic where all participants were polite and no one got angry on anything, and those were excluded as well, I have no problems with rules, but when it is so random, and let's face it authoritarian I just don't bother.

First off, really liking the game so far. Interesting story and very easy on the eyes. Loving the daughter especially, she's cute as they come and beatifull.

I have one point of critique though, the intro/outtro scenes. Don't get me wrong I like them. Quite funny and I can easily see those as a signature feature for the game. What DID put me off a little however was using one of those to explain why the updates ware so short. Using extra renders to explain the updates are smaller because each render takes so long ... understand my point here?
Kinda like saying "Sorry, can't lend you any money, I'm a bit short at the moment" while lighting your cigar with a burning 50 dollar bill. Sure it's your right to do whatever you want with it, but still kind of a dick move.

But as I said I like the scenes itself very much and laughed with about the whole "Bad Dev!" spanking thing but still ... let's say unlucky choice of delivery method for this particular message^^ (with message I mean the time per render and all that - In case my ramlings are to hard to follow)

I was gonna avoid talking about it, because it will probably spark a discussion and mods don't like my discussions, but it is my opinion and I feel the need to express it.

Lets start with this , I'm the type of player that doesn't like making choices for NPC's, so, i played the new begging and i have to say, i didn't like it, not because of the rework, but because besides not liking to make choices for NPC's i don't like to see things that the MC wouldn't, i could accept when it was the whole cat thing in the hospital, or character was out for the count and it wasn't anything too important, and then there was the whole seeing through Zaida's eyes, which made sense to set up the next update, but this time we got a shit ton of information on a characters background, information that seems(based on the first version) that it was meant to be something that would come up in the future, something that could make us emphasize with said character, and that would make the whole scene in the begging that much more powerful, i at least would be far closer to trusting Zaida after getting said information, so we didn't just get to see something the MC didn't, we didn't just made a choice for a NPC, we got vital plot and lore that the character hadden't and wouldn't.

That is exactly what my point in previous discussions was.

Still like the game, still love the effort and appreciate the fact that Red Rocket takes in feedback, but I'm worried about what will happen to the story and the game if they continue to give in. I'm sorry I can't support financially, and I'm sorry for the whining and being a baby about it, but I do believe in giving sincere feedback and that is mine.

I'm pretty sure a mod will delete this at some point though.

The change you say you dont like was completely Red Rocket decision, nobody asked for that, so i guess he thought it was a better idea to include it earlier. It was a Devs decision, not influenced by anyone, i thought you liked to respect the Devs decision.

I think the new beginning is light years better than the previous ones, and Zaida as a character is much more interesting even without the "vital plot" info, just by the dialogs of her making fun of Bob with us.

The old beginning was boring and placed Zaida as a side story character (which she was kind of going to be at the start, when the Dev created that scene, but then the Dev make her more important)

So the new beginning just makes more sense with the Dev new view of the story, a new view that the Dev had AFTER the initial scene was created.

Do not worry too much, a) he said he liked your game and b) any remark about shortness and/or wanting more content does mean they liked what they saw in the end. Be very worried when people start to complain that your updates are too long.

Now there was quite a few speculations about the possible kid of Lydia, but I kinda missed the most logical one even if it might not fit with the wishes of us pervs.

Yes, you can choose the MC's name.

The game doesn't have a NTR path. There is a scene where a woman is sucking another dude's cock and you can join in and fuck her or refuse and talk with the guy while she's going at it (you have an unavoidable sex scene with her later on, and that was why some people didn't like it). With the last update/fix the dev gives you the choice to avoid that scene and get an alternative where she just stands there and makes some comments.

Finally got to play the update late last night and I gotta say....
SO MUCH BETTER!!!

You know I loved your previous work Red, but the new scene has me liking Zaida so much more then I did beforehand. Getting to watch her crack up and make fun of Bob with us and the bit of subtly plot bantered about with her and Bob before we show up has me intrigued!

I know you don't get what the big deal with the previous scene was but thank you for humoring us, I feel this slight change makes the game much better and hopefully will be able to garner the support it really deserves as a beautifully rendered, hilariously written, and truly interesting story it is.

Looking forward to the next story update and to see what sort of sexy trouble our lovely Narrator finds herself in..

But that is your opinion, which i dont think its correct.

No one asked the Dev to put plot lore in there, all that was asked is that if we watch someone have a sex scene with someone else, then that someone should be compleletely avoidable.

Since the Dev didnt want us to avoid Zaida and there was a lot of people with this problem, he/she decided to change the first scene, and when the dev did that, he/she by himself/herself thought it was better to include that piece of lore.

Now, i think it is because the Dev when he designed the scene on the first release, thought Zaida wasnt going to be as important as its going to be now (he/she even said that) but that changed, and since now he/she had the chance to rework the outdated first scene, then he/she made it closer to his/her current vision of the story, which changed not because of the forum discussion, but because Zaida become more important to the story.

Well, again it was the Dev's decision to add that lore there, which no one, not a single soul, in any forum, asked for, so it was only influenced by his/her own vision of his/her game.

I think most people will agree the new scene is better, but if you dont, you can just play the same game as before...
