I'll most likely pass on bitch squad as I prefer to avoid the D in female protagonist type games.

Unless they get the option to kick bite cut or rip off the D or if you can pick no to any sex with any of them then I might check it out. But I'll most likely end up adding it to my ever growing list of blocked female protagonist games.

I just hope it doesn't effect this game too much red already said she wants to do two paths for this game but doesn't have the time and know she's going to work on two different games simultaneously I just hope she can handle it.

I don't think you should take it personal. I obviously don't know if the poster is doing it for the same reason, but for me blocking a game I know I won't play, is just an easy way to avoid checking it out every few months I see an update and don't remember if I've played it before. I probably won't even bother trying Bitch Squad to be honest, but that doesn't have anything to do with you or the quality of the game. I just prefer games with a male protagonist, who gets to be the focus of the story, so a game with multiple female protagonists is definitely not for me and it doesn't have to be. I still enjoy playing Rainy Day.

I think it's possible the problem is that a lot of us like to put our selves in the role of the MC. That's why the harem games are so popular. And with a female MC it comes to close to feeling like we're getting dicked. Homophobic, eh maybe, but it's just a thought.

First off I want to say I'm sorry if you thought I was trashing your game that wasn't my intention. When I play an adult VN I want to immerse myself as the MC and make choices for that character and I can't do that with fem protag. I also struggle to enjoy games with multiple protagonists since I prefer games to focus on one MC.

It doesn't help that almost all games with a fem protag turn into you playing as a character the goes around getting raped and sexually assaulted all game not that I'm saying your game is going to do that.

Like I said, I like games where you control a guy who gets all the focus, so I know I won't enjoy content with multiple girls getting dicked by multiple guys. I've tried female protagonist games in the past and I just don't like them. It's just not my thing.

"Bitch Squad" is a game about a gang of girls with superpowers, if someone gets raped, it's definitely not them. I have attached some renders from the prologue.

Well it's already different from most other fem protag games so you are going to stand out more and will probably find a lot of success when you release it so I hope it does well.

People should learn to keep their mouths shut if they don't want to play as a female. If the dev is creating a new game with a female protag, that's cool. If you don't want to play it because of that, then just move on when it's released. We all have our hard limits when it comes to what we'll play. I wish you well on your new game, Red Rocket

Lol, didn't mean to imply i had a problem with it, just that maybe that's why others would, although i do tend to avoid the Female MC games though mainly because the content doesn't interest me, not the fact that it's a female MC. I fully intend to check it out based solely on your work in Rainy Day. Dosen't mean i'll like it but i'm absolutely gonna check it out.

The dev has stated on Patreon that the development of Rainy Day will stop until she releases her new game in January or February. After that, she says, the development of Rainy Day will be altered and she'll probably release shorter updates every 2 weeks.

My experience tells me this never turns out well for starting devs like her, without much support yet and without a team of people collaborating with her. One of the games is bound to end up "on hold."

I hope she doesn't burn herself out, Rainy Day is a fantastic game.

Yeah. Well. That's true. But, I've tried expressing my opinions politely and I still end up getting warnings. But, that's not here or there. The point is, the dev was getting upset and people kept badgering her over it. People need to chill the fuck out. Let her do what she wants and if the game goes on hold, it goes on hold. People giving her shit over it, isn't going to change a damn. All it will end up doing is causing her to just say fuck it all and walk away. Then we don't have shit.

People need to just leave her the fuck alone and let her do her thing.

I think there are a few things that go into Red switching focus from Rainy Day to her new project: Bitch Squad.

As she said in earlier posts, she worked for months on Episode 5, but after it came out, her patreon numbers didnt really grow. Kinda hard to stay enthusiastic for a project when the support clearly isn't there.
Which baffles me as I love this game (aside from the rape of Roxana), and from what I've seen, most people who play this game love it. I don't get why more people wouldn't throw some support behind her if they want her to continue this project.

Knowing that, I can understand Red wanting to try something different to see if there will be more support out there for a different genre of adult game, especially with having worked so hard for months to feel like it was for nothing. That can burn a person out creatively.

For myself, I do not play games with female or shapeshifting protagonists.
In fact I specifically use the "Latest Updates" page and filter by "male protagonist."
I am a self inserter (giggedy), so I prefer to only really play Harem games.
That being said, I know Red is a quality writer and makes gorgeous fucking renders, so I'm happy she's enjoying making this new game and I'll give it a fair shake and still support her while I wait for more Rainy Day.

Well, I don't jerk off to any game. I have my girls. However, I will only play as a male. As others have said, I want to immerse myself into the story. I can't do that as a female. I'm not a female and it just pulls me out of the story. So, it's not about jerking and it's not about 'REEEEE!' either.

But, I think you need to write whatever you want and just because some retar... err... people are talking shit or 'REEEEEING!' about it, doesn't mean you shouldn't. Write your stories as you want.

not gonna lie i was planning to patron to red when the month started but update came out on the same day so i had the chance to try it out before i patroned... but the Roxana thing ruined that for me. dont get me wrong i still like the story and humor. but nah that was too much for me. could/will i still play it if it keeps goin? damn straight.

this one of those games i struggle with in terms of patroning on the one hand harem game with good writing and humor.

on the other sterlie MC. first release couldn't avoid zaida getting it on with bob(avoidable now). and now Roxana

...the gangbang at the end is avoidable but as a harem player. seemed like a waste of renders to me but pretty sure others liked it so eh. also didnt influence the story so again eh.

will i try out the other game? yup.

Just saw the render for the new game and it look interesting with gorgeous model .
I will definitely try it .
I think most people not liking game with a women protagonist is mostly from what came before .
Game with one are rare which make good one rarer .

I just hope that there will be a continue to the spanking for the late schedule of the update in both game .

You know I enjoy your humor and your writing, just look at the giant responses in my posts here and pms if you have any doubts. As I said just below the part you quoted, I will absolutely play your new game and continue to support, I'm just way more invested in Rainy Day for a number of reasons, one of those is a protagonist I can insert myself in. Doesn't mean I wont enjoy your new project, its just not what I normally play, as some others have also noted. I would also like for them to check out Bitch Squad and give it a shot to see if its something they might enjoy but I don't know how much audience overlap you will get with two very different games. I think once you've gotten your demo for Bitch Squad out it will bring more people around and will draw its own audience too. Don't fret, just keep on following where your creative energies guide you.
