As SoulStealer stated Rance I/1 is the original that is translated and "01" is the remake just how rance II's remake is 02 and rance III's remake is 03. Mangagamer's translation of the remake last I remember is deep into it with 01 being out of beta and seems now 02 needs to go into beta testing.

If you want an actual walkthrough, then

.Gold you get from treasure chests and as rewards for getting certain amount of adventure achievements in a dungeon. To raise the FP of your party members, you'll have to either touch a heart icon that is in a dungeon for an event that raises a certain character's FP, gift them a present, or do a repeatable event in the camp screen that costs red/yellow orbs. Orbs can easily be farmed in the Nearby and Autumn Forest. Do note that for some characters you'll have to wait until you reach certain points in the story before you unlock their repeatable events.
When a character reaches their level cap if they're a female, you can have them have sex with Rance via repeatable H-events that costs yellow orbs to raise their level cap by 2. Again with some characters you'll have to reach certain points in the story or do an event/quest before you're able to do that. There's also a dungeon later in the game that will raise the level caps of all characters, both male and female if they're at their level cap.

Their last update on Rance Quest a couple months ago was that they added more resources to speed up development. As for what exactly is taking them so long, nobody knows. It's at a point where even in their official discord people meme about how long the wait for Rance Quest is. Even the remakes of Rance 01 and 02, both of which were announced two years after Quest is further along in progress than Quest and are very likely to be released this year before Quest does.

To add to this, Quest (plus its Magnum expansion) are in general more complicated games than 01 and 02 especially 02 even with the kai and kaikai patches. Its possible they ran into some snags with Magnum on a technical level which could make preparing and beta testing longer or more complicated but who knows.

Some good news, looks like there's been some progress with the Rance Quest translation. Fingers crossed that we see a release by the end of 2020.
