I ended up using CE and locking the hp in place towards the end of the game, still playing that thing took me 25 hours and i have no idea how many of these i wasted with the shit gameplay in that thing. The way the loot is placed in dungeons, for example. You have to go twice through the whole thing to get the best gear in most of them, which is annoying as all hell. The same goes for the whole city layout forcing you out of the castle gate over and over, even if you would need to stop and ask the guard girl something.. All of those things are crying shame, because the writing for the character stories and even the overall plot is pretty damn well fleshed out, for what it is.
I started playing Rance 02 Kai now and somewhere on the net there was mention, about that game missing a scene replay option, i think. Does the save in the op help with any of that? I forgot to save in the first dungeon and i have no idea where i will be put if i reset my progress now. -.-

Help me please, I've been trying to use Cheat engine 7.2 for hours for Sengoku Rance. I just can't open the Cheat Table. I have Cheat engine open but what ever table I download from whatever source it just appears as a blank file and won't let me open it. I've seen videos and it's supossed to have the Cheat Engine Logo on the file. Can anyone help me please?.

I'm confused about installing Rance 02. If I want to play kai, do I need to download (2010 Remake) too?

You only need to download Rance 02 Kai. Rance 02(2010 Remake) is just the regular 02 without the Kai improvements.

Almost every game in the series is playable in English with the exception of 03, IX, and X. The reason why some of the games are so small is because they're the old games from the 90sSo how many games are actually playable? most seem like 90MB

I don't think there is any point in going back to the old 3, it is better to start on newer versions and get through 03 in Japanese with MTL ;x Because while IV is cool, the first three parts have aged poorly. If you don't play too fast, by the time you get to IX they might have translated it xDOh, great then, thought they didn't get translated. thanks man

There is still merit in playing the old versions if you don't mind the older look and gameplay. 01 and espcially 03 change so much that it really does give a different experience entirely. There could be an argument for 02 as well if you play 02 Kai. There is also something to be said if you are interested in Kichikuou that playing the older versions of the first three games would be recommended though of course not required. I do hold the belief Rance III still holds up fairly well.

Yeah, I've been thinking of what to do and just decided to play all of them lol like I wanted to play Final fantasy 7 Remake but then decided to play 1-6 first
Maybe i do something wrong , but i cant change resolution in 5D in full screen . Any suggestions?

If you want to play "Rance 2 Kai" replace rance02.ain (345.1 KiB) with the one in folder Rance 02 Kai script(rance02.ain (451.5 KiB)).
Make sure to create a backup of both rance02.ain files.
"Rance 2" saves are not compatible with "Rance 2 Kai", you'll have to star a new game.
Rance 02 Kai has a completely rewritten script."
I downloaded "Rance 02 Kai (add-on)", installed it and it works. And here's another instruction, and I don't have any "script" folder in the main game folder and I don't understand what it's about at all ;x
