Hey there,
I wanted to let you know that I won't be releasing the new update this month. I've been working on it, but it's turned out to be smaller than usual, and I'm not satisfied with the quality and quantity of content.
I usually like to drop small updates, but this one feels too tiny for now. I've pushed the release date to next month. I spent most of this month working on admin stuff, which is why there aren't as many renders as usual
Even though I could technically release the update today, there just isn't enough to make it worthwhile, and I think it might disappoint more people than anything else.
On top of that, I've already started working on Episode 9 Part 2. I'd love to include a map in that one, but it might mean the update will take longer to finish.
I've been busy planning for 2024, with a big focus on completing Raptus and getting it on Steam. My plan is to wrap up Raptus in the first quarter of 2024 and hopefully offer a polished version on Steam with some DLC for more niche content.

I plan to have a toned down version on steam, that would be more like the original version via DLC distributed directly by me, perhaps that's a bit of a bold "tactic" but I don't really have much to lose, if I don't scale then all of this it's kind of a failure

This unofficial port/version is not released by developer, download at your own risk.

I agree with you. To get this game on steam you'll have to tone it down A LOT. There are quite a few things with this VN that will definitely not get through the censors. I'll wish you the best of luck though, cause I actually love this game just for those sick and twisted points in the game.

I think they may boost replayability, getting to the person you want to have a scene with when you want, similar to the gallery but without having to go outside the game to have the scenes, I personally prefer a game that is hybrid, long sessions of story divided by freedom of navigation, that's the objective and I hope I'll be able to do a decent job.

Also, since I would like to have it on steam I'd like the players to not just have 1 hour of game and then be done with it, we'll see how the community will respond to it and I'll move based on that.
Agreed open world games add a lot of work without real benefit.
