Adeline can turn her into a 'Killtoy', basically a lewd version of the knight, but in her burned/depressed state. If Adeline starts to turn her into a Killtoy however and then you marry somebody else, the game has no content for her and just states she's at the armoury. I don't believe that's intended because it removes Maelys forever.

Use the first DRM remover, and delete any files in the main directory that has ".bat" file as an extension, like the old DRM removers.

AS OF v5.2.0:

The game scans for .bat files and steam_appid.txt in its base directory (where Ravager.exe etc are), and quits during intialization if it finds any as an anti-piracy measure.

For now, the easiest fix would be to use the .bat method but rename the file to .cmd, or launch a command prompt in said base directory (Ctrl+Shift+Right Click -> "Open PowerShell window here" in Windows Explorer) and manually run the command:

lib\py3-windows-x86_64\pythonw.exe Ravager.py

I've attached a bypass that works for the time being: Extract Ravager.cmd to the same folder as Ravager.exe and use Ravager.cmd to start the game.

IF you have used any other cracks/bypasses before on the same installation make sure to delete any .bat files and (files ending with) steam_appid.txt from both the base directory AND from lib\py3-windows-x86_64

I am fully expecting cmd files to be added to the "blacklist" in coming updates as well though. Maybe we just need to launch the game from outside its folder (which they could scan for as well if they really wanted but it would be less morally acceptable at least)...

Not many games where you can have a power fantasy as a villain, I really enjoy this one.

Although it may never happen, I have wondered what it would be like if you could shapeshift into a more humanoid figure with draconic features. Maybe it'll happen, maybe not. I entirely comprehend the kind of undertaking it would require to even implement that, writing new scenes or re-writing existing ones, additional artwork commissions, all that & more.

I don't see a downside if this was to transpire, but still, it would mean a lot more work. Either way this is still a good visual novel and it's on my list of favorites, even bought it on Steam.

well i do expect that, too. didn't even bother to try oput the last few versions after 5.1x something, just checked if it starts.. but for only that, it's bothersome to keep DL a 5+GB file.
they want to push something, sales maybe, or they do it to prove a point, or out of a variety of reasons beyond anything i would care about. i'm on the brink of abandoning//unwatching this game, because of the changes and a few other issues, and one of my reasons for that lies in the whole steam thing.
if i buy games, i prefer other sites. maybe one day the devs sell a finished product on gog.com, that would be acceptable. until then, probly gonna stay out of here soon.

Is it just me or does dragons feel somewhat underpowered or just not all that dangerous/intimidating? Or is it just weak writing/anime logic at times?

I can barely count how many of the girls basically felt unafraid in front of a dragon lol, even the commoner girl shows up making demands of a dragon that raped her?? And that's just one example that stood out to me.

I'm not gonna lie, Maelys storyline was by far the weakest to me. I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at how she went from being a dragonkiller to repeatedly losing, getting raped and then still somehow killing the dragons. Firstly, are dragons just that weak? AND stupid? Secondly, why are elves more powerful than dragons??

Don't get me wrong, this game is still amazing but fuck, in what fantasy world are dragons not by far the most op thing ever???
