Someone here said it earlier - there is people who back projects like star citizen (me too btw) - and we are willing to go a long way with the dev... but we are not stupid and we don't give you any money if the dev cant prove the project is worth the investment.

This dev has lost my patience and trust - because

1) I don't think the dev has the necessary skills to maintain and finish a project on his own
2) I don't think the dev has the interested to finish this game - otherwise the dev would improve - the game would improve
3) I don't think the dev actually realizes the whole misery and thinks she or he can still turn this around by making wild decisions and not by improving the game, skills and stick with the plan until at least a significant milestone has been reached

So yes - in my eyes this is ignorance, lack of skills and mixed with hybris, no self organization skills and no real world experience. Which means, a total normal software developer totally overwhelmed as usually they are without proper project management.

I don't think this is a scam or something... I believe the dev is just way over his head and has no real plan at all. So the dev should join another team and bring his talents (boobs, sex scenes) into some of the projects which have great gameplay but a shitty character interaction... just think about it - this dev with the assets in a game like porn empire...

And yes, I've put money into the project about three times from the beginning and in total more than for a AAA game in total.

Let's all be honest, we're mainly here for the jiggle. The character design and animations are what stands out, so people would probably be satisfied, if this game was a glorified scene viewer.
I don't understand why the dev struggles so much with the scope of the game and the redesigns. If they really wanted to milk their patrons they would just implement a simple gameplay loop and then only work on new characters and animations to release regularly.
They already had a passable game world, several interiors and a system similar to fetch quests. If they just continued to have this game be about meeting chracters and unlocking sex scenes, then people would eat that shit up.

Between a glorified scene viewer and a bad game, i'd choose a scene viewer

I think every low budget adult game (probably all of them) should just stick to this blueprint you just mentioned: simple gameplay loop and then only work on new characters and animations to release regularly. I see too many games with HUGE maps but pointless because they are empty; or filled with 'errand boy' quests...

I downloaded the game from another source. And it works. But I don't understand why it has been changed so much from the original version. There was much more that could be done there. And now the heroine is locked in one location, and there's not much you can do with the guy. The game had potential, but it's not worth any attention right now.

the performance issues seem to be completely ignored, walking is faster then using a car with how bad it is. im pretty sure its the excessively massive water loaded on the map, coz going into it or near it doubles down how bad the performance is; moving your mouse a millimeter causes the camera to practically 720

hello, i'm using mac pro m1. it stucks on loading screen. i really wonder how do i could play this game on mac :(
In this case the dev should've mentioned the minimum system requirements to run this game as it seems to be using one of the newer Unreal Engine.
but in general Macs are no good for gaming just look at how many of the newer triple A games on Steam that have been released for MacOS...

It's not that "Macs are no good for gaming" it is that developers are no good at programing for Macs.

You're onto something but the issue is a bit more complex.

Game devs mostly focus on either Windows PCs or consoles, for a very simple reason, that's where most gamers are, therefore it's most effective to get good at that. Most of the expertise is on developing for the primary platforms that people game on, since that's your target audience. Minimal amout of gamers on mac -> minimal amount of resources spent developing games for mac (companies have finite resources afterall). Until there's a clear sign of large demand and someone actually bites the bullet to prove it by making a very successful game things will most likely stay this way.

Macs are not inherently bad for gaming, some of them have good specs, however make no mistake a mac is not a gaming pc and apple is a design and lifestyle company first and foremost. That is why a kid was told his GPU needs to be replaced in his MacBook Air (those do not have a dedicated GPU) by the "genius" bar, that's why they released a MacBook where the fan was not actually pushing air onto the heatsink but was just ramping up and down to give the impression of cooling, that is why the fans kick in so late and it'd rather thermal throttle so that it doesn't sound like a jet engine (at the cost of performance), that's why the SSD is soldered on in some models and almost nothing is upgradeable by the user in modern Macs. It's a black box that just works. For some people the lack of games is actually a feature, I knew a guy that bought a mac for university for this exact reason, because it can't run games, to make sure he won't be distracted and he will focus on his studies, say what you will but it lead to the sale of a macbook.

My point is, macs are not designed with gaming in mind even though some have good specs. Most people that want pure gaming performance, not a status item, will see they can make (or even buy) a PC for the same price that is much more powerful, even in today's market. The lack of expertise for developing games on mac stems from a lack of sufficient demand. You can see how many gamers are on Mac by looking at steam's hardware survey results if you wish. Linux is starting to become more gamer friendly though, so that's great, perhaps Mac will be next in line.

I don't usually argue with ppl in porn forums but I'll make this an exception.
Which Mac below $3-4K has powerful enough GPUs for the developers to render CGs?
As far as I know Apple don't like Nvidia and has in recent years exclusively used AMD gpus which has been lagging behind Nvidia until their RDNA2 gpus but still behind when it comes to real time ray tracing. Not sure how Apple will be able to pair AMD GPUs with their new CPUs as they are made to work with Ryzen and Intel CPUs,
For many years Apple has been more like a life style brand rather than offering consumer friendly high performance computers hence the soldered ssd, RAM etc. Their new MacBook pro m1 may be good for certain applications but their GPUs are just too weak to run modern triple A games.
